NBUS BD Card for my DH

My blog title means: Never Before Used Schtuff Birthday Card for my Dear Husband:) I love the stitched die look and could not resist these stars from Lil' Inker. Then I saw the stamps that went with the dies and I just had to get them. When my husband is trying to be funny and is enthusiastic about something, he says "far out and groovy". The fact that I remember those words from when they were something we said all the time dates me too:) The dies and sentiments from Lil' Inker are NBUS I just had to use to make this card for him for an upcoming birthday. I raised the orange top up over the brown card base with pop dots and attached several yellow stitched stars on both layers.

NBUS #2 challenge is going on on Darnell's blog here and I am entering this card in that challenge.
I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at 613 Avenue Create.

Such a fun card Karen, isn't it great when you find a sentiment that fits someone perfectly!

Good for your hubby for keeping those excellent words alive!! As a matter of fact, I still use them myself and now I think I'm going to use them more often on my blog! Let's see if we can't bring them back into our everyday parlance! Wouldn't that be a groovy birthday present for him, Karen? You've made him the perfect birthday card, that's for sure, and you're making me put stitched stars on my wish list!!

Thank you so much for playing in my second NBUS Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell
