I am very excited today to announce that I am now a member of the design team at Through the Craft Room Door! I have entered cards in the TTCRD challenge almost every week for a long time now because they always have my favorite kind of challenge- Anything Goes! But the main reason I am so happy to be part of this dt is because Through the Craft Room Door is not only a fun weekly challenge, but is also a crafting magazine filled with articles, tutorials and many cards and ideas that is published six times a year!
The November/December holiday issue was just released yesterday and is fantastic! It is loaded (88 pages!) with paper craft tutorials, and tons of inspiration and projects you can create! Sandi Huggett is this month’s Featured Digi Artist and she has given us some wonderful images for you to download, and Anne Fenton has given us three sweet holiday digis as well. There are even some yummy holiday recipes!
That Craft Place is the sponsor of this week’s challenge at Through the Craft Room Door and I chose to create a cute Halloween card with That Craft Place’s sweet Twixie. I printed her on white cardstock and again on kraft, orange and silver, then paper pieced her. I wanted to use some of the cute Halloween dp on my desk before putting it away until next year, so I cut a card base with glittery polka dotted cardstock, then added some strips from a black and grey spooky forest page. I attached Twixie with pop dots for dimension.
I am entering this card in the Halloween challenge at That Craft Place and the Anything Goes challenge at 613 Avenue Create.
