Best Wishes for the Color Challenged Like Me

I admit I have a problem when it comes to designing cards deciding what colors to use. I tend to use the same colors and struggle with finding new color combos or even just which color to start with. I decided to use the colors from Repeat Impression's current color challenge for this card - Red, Turquoise and Black or White. I started with a red A2 card base and added a turquoise layer that had been cut and embossed with a pretty embossing folder by X Cuts. I added the beautiful "Best Wishes" sentiment cut with a Tonic Studios die. I finished the card with a couple floral sequins and Nuvo's Blue Lagoon Glitter Drops.

Besides the Repeat Impression's challenge, I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Cut It Up and Scrapy Land.

I have a hard time with color, too. I have my favorites - mostly neutrals!
The color wheel helps sometimes.

I love the interesting positive and negative spaces on this card!

Thanks for celebrating our 100th post with us at Cut it Up!
