Crafty Sentiments and Love's Rubberstamps Challenges

Red White and Blue is the theme at the challenges at Crafty Sentiments and Love's Rubber Stamps and with Independence Day next week, those colors are perfect right now. My husband likes to buy flowers to brighten up the house and over Memorial Day weekend he bought some red, white and blue carnations. They were wrapped in the flag colored paper you see behind the velum piece and it was too pretty to throw away, so I made a card with it. I did a search on line for an eagle silhouette, typed the sentiment in my word program and printed them on velum. I attached the velum with star brads and put the two layers on a red card.

Stamping smiles and Happy 4th of July week, Karen
