More Motion Crafts Animated Tags and Cards With Kits You Could Win!

My favorite of the new animation stamps are from that tag kit and their alignment was horizontal while the Magic Window Card Kit is vertical. I show what that means in the video and how to adjust those dies to create this type of card:

I also extended the tabs a little to accommodate little fingers like my grandsons. I love the stretch my stamps and dies by trying them in different ways.

I had so much fun creating animated cards and tags with new sets of dies and stamps from Motion Crafts for my newest video here. I create several cards in the video and share many more I made. Still pictures don't do the cards justice of course as the magic happens when the tabs from the Motion Crafts Magic Window Card Kit are pulled. The slimline card was made with Tonic Studio's Iridescent Mirror Card which creates rainbows in reflected lights.

More Mixed Media Cards from Part Two of My Newest Video

After I created the mixed media masterboard in Part One of my newest videos, I made a bunch of cards with some of my favorite dies in Part Two. I wanted to feature this awesome new stamp from Dina Kowall and Impression Obsession so I diecut the frame from Kat Scrappiness around it and added a bunch of stars to highlight it. It is easier to read IRL as the photo lights obscure the words just a bit. "If all you see are shadows, perhaps you are the light." I love that sentiment! Here is the version of this card I made with my first masterboard: 

I cut triangles (Reverse Confetti) and a friends flower (Tutti Designs) out of my first masterboard for this slimline card. The stitched slimline die is from Pinkfresh Studio.

A simple stitched strip of the masterboard looks great on this thinking of you card (die from Simon Says Stamp.) I added embossing powder to three strips of scor-tape and heated them with a heat gun for the gold textured look. 

This little square card features stitched rounded square dies from My Favorite Things and a round thank you die from Impression Obsession. The red leaf was created with a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and Nuvo paste.

Videos - Cardmaking With a Mixed Media Masterboard and Dies - Parts One and Two

Recently I challenged myself to make a mixed media masterboard with all sorts of stamps and stencils and pastes and shimmer powders and then use my favorite dies to create cards with it. I did a practice one and then created the one pictured below in the first part of two videos that are new on my YouTube channel today. I started with Nuvo Shimmer Powders sprinkled on a large piece of watercolor paper. After that dried, my Part One video shows step by step how I stenciled and added Nuvo Expanding Mousse which bubbles up with great texture when heated with a heat gun. I also added Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo which dries tacky and I added foil and embossing powder on those stenciled images. Here is a look at the mostly completed mixed media masterboard:

In Part Two of this video series, I show how I created many cards with dies and the masterboard as the background.  Both of these card fronts were cut with two frame dies from Gina Marie Designs and layered on black cardstock. On the top card from the new masterboard, I wanted to feature this awesome new stamp from Dina Kowall and Impression Obsession. The card below was created with my first masterboard, so you can see how it turns out differently each time one is created:

The large mixed media masterboard worked beautifully for slimline cards such as this birthday easel card I made with slimline dies from Gina Marie Designs and alphabet dies from Kat Scrappiness  for the eclipse look. I used the same dies to make this love slimline easel card from my first masterboard:

More Christmas Slimline Cards from the Christmas In July Giveaway Video Hop

In my humble opinion, it is never too early to start creating Christmas cards! I make them all year round and am never pressured at the last minute to get them done. My favorite style of card right now is slimline and here is another of the cards I share in my video:

I love how this card turned out and it was so easy to make! I simply cut a gorgeous purple scene from a Crafter's Companion set of designer paper with a stitched slimline die from Pink Fresh Studios and added "Christmas Wishes" cut with a die from Sue Wilson on a vellum pennant. 

Another fun idea to do with slimline cards made with slimline dies is to make a shaker card. I started with a Whimsy Stamps stitched slimline die with 3 windows and made the top one a shaker. In the second window I stamped "Sending Hugs" from Waffle Flower and the joyful snowman was created with a die from Penny Black. Here is a peak at the card "all shook up":

This is the card I show how to make in the video and is part of my prize package you could win if you comment per the directions in the video before August 1, 2020. I learned the fun overlapping letters technique in a Spring Card Camp from Online Card Classes. I used alphabet dies from Kat Scrappiness, "christmas" is a die from Bright Rosa and I cut the layers with stitched slimline dies from Pinkfresh Studios. Here is another slimline card I share in the video: 

 I think the stitching on the slimline dies adds so much interest to my card front! I cut a Clear Views transparency picture to fit in the lantern frame from Sugar Pea Designs. The perfect sentiment die is from Sue Wilson and Creative Expressions.

Layers and Layers of Slimline Fun Fold Cards From My Newest Video

I love to make slimline cards and fun fold cards but the only problem with them is they are a bit large to easily photograph. The cards here are much easier to see in my newest video here. Years ago I made some screen divider cards, but the ones I make now are so much better with Scalloped Stitched Slimline dies from Gina Marie Designs and other sweet dies. Here are some more pictures of this four sided baby screen divider card that folds to mail in a #10 envelope and then stands up for the recipient to display: 

The sentiment dies are from Sue Wilson and Divinity Designs. The romper is also from Divinity Designs,  the dresser is from Frantic Stamper and the ABC die is by Tonic Studios. 

I adapted a tutorial from Jennifer McGuire to make this slimline version of a inside tunnel card for my husband for our upcoming 30th wedding anniversary using double stitched slimline dies from Kat Scrappiness. "Forever" is a die from Stamplorations and the heart trail on the front is a die from Memory Box. On  the inside the dancing couple is a die from Die-version and the sentiment and year were created with dies from Tonic Studios.

This tri-fold window slimline card is the style of the one I make in the new video here. The oval window shows through to the back where the happy birthday message is. I think the Big and Little Chain Slimline Dies from Gina Marie Designs add wonderful details to all the layers of this card! I made this one a fall birthday card with leaves from Sizzix, Lil' Inker and Karen Burniston. The sentiment on the back is a die from Simon Says Stamp and "celebrate big" is from Cutplorations . Video- DIe Cut Crazy Series - Fun Folds With Layers & Layers of Slimline Dies

I love to make slimline cards and am die cut crazy, and so I am sharing many cards made with new stacked slimline die sets from Kat Scrappiness and Gina Marie Designs in my newest video. I show how to make this tri-fold window slimline card in the video: 

My favorite stitched dies are those that are stitched in and out like this new set of double stitched slimline dies from Kat Scrappiness. The butterfly on the front is a layered die from Birch Press Designs. The sentiment dies are from Sue Wilson and Creative Expressions. The tri-fold window card opens and this is what the next two layers look like: 

Another of my favorite companies to buy inexpensive sets of dies from is Gina Marie Designs. I used several layers of Big and Little Chain Slimline Dies from Gina Marie Designs on this slimline easel card: 

I just love the extra details these dies add to my cards! I also used alphabet dies from Kat Scrappiness for the eclipse look of love and "always" is a die from Tonic Studios. Here is a look at this card laying (almost) flat ready to mail:

Three Purple Quilt Cards With the Triangle Me Die From Gina Marie Designs

As I show in my newest video, it is so easy to make unique quilt cards with inexpensive dies from Gina Marie Designs and three color coordinated papers. This Gina Marie Designs quilt die is called Triangle Me and I left some of the die openings uncovered to see the plum cardstock base. All of the sentiment dies on each of these cards are from Sue Wilson and Creative Expressions.

I used the same papers and just created a different pattern in the same Triangle Me die for this card. And here is a third unique card with the same papers and die:

Isn't that fun how each one is so different? It is like a puzzle and I show in the video how to use Glad Press n Seal to keep the triangles in their place until you are ready to add them to the card.
