Birthday Wishes Cabin Card
Today I am sharing one of my favorite recent techniques- so easy but very effective. Simply pick out a piece of patterned paper with an image you can highlight- wildlife scenes work very well for this but many other kinds of patterned paper can be used as well. I will feature more cards with this technique in the future.
Attach the patterned piece to the front of the card. Using a nestabilities shaped die (in this case a circle), cut out the cabin (or whatever you are highlighting.) Sponge around the cut out shape on both the front hole and the piece itself with a darker ink. Attach the cutout piece in the inside so it can be seen through the hole.
I learned this technique at a class at Nosser's stamp shop in Rhinelander Wisconsin. Great classes and a great shop!
Stamping smiles! Karen
