It’s another Designer’s Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression’s blog. It’s
my turn and I chose to challenge myself, my team mates and you to make a
holiday card using non-traditional colors. I am a green and red Christmas gal,
but sometimes we need to step outside our comfort zone and try something
different. So pull out your non-traditional colors, make a card and you can enter
it for a chance to win some awesome Repeat Impressions rubber! Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's cards for
this DCC challenge.
For my card I used the lovely Winter’s Eve stamp
by Repeat Impressions that I stamped in purple as my focal point. I cut it out
leaving a white border, layered on purple and raised with mounting tape above a
background of white embossed snowflakes. More layering of purple and a perfect
sentiment from Repeat Impressions complete the card.
I am entering this card in the challenge at
Hooked on Craft for no reds or greens in our holiday card.
