It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is everyone’s favorite- Anything Goes 4 Kids! Create and link any card appropriate for a child and you could win one of our great prizes. You even have an extra week to enter as we do our challenges the first and third Saturdays of the month, so with the extra Saturday this month, we take a break and you get more time to design, blog and link your card. You do not have to donate your card(s) after you enter our challenge, but our kids would sure love it if you did. And remember we are a card only challenge- cuz that is what we are all about- cards for our kids!
We have three very generous sponsors this week: Sassy Studios is giving their winner 4 digis of their choice! And Di’s Digis is giving their randomly picked winner a $10 Gift Certificate! Squigglefly’s winner will receive 3 digis of their choice! TEAM S.A.S will also be choosing their favorite cards for our top three and the winners will receive a blog badge and an opportunity to be a guest design team member on a future challenge.
My first card above features Mulan Honey from Sassy Studios. I kept the card CAS using some gorgeous dp for the card and her dress. I did a little coloring and added a green butterfly to complete the card.
"Shy Bear with Goldfish" from Squigglefly is the center of attention on this fun card for one of our boys. I printed him on white and again on light blue cardstock and paper pieced the fish bowl after coloring the fish brown. I attached him to a scalloped circle cut out with my Spellbinders dies and layered him on a fun background created with dp triangles.
"Izzy with Umbrella" is a sweet colored digital stamp from Di's Digis and she is attached with dimensionals onto a die cut oval over an embossed background. I am hoping one of our girls will like this card.
I am entering these cards in the following challenges: Delightful Challenges "For the Boys" (#2); Cute Card Thursday "Anything Goes" (#1); and Shelly's Images "Roll 'em"- choices were Die or Punch, Dimensionals and Embossing (#3).
