Silhouette Sunday Feminine Cards

I checked out the Weekly Shape Challenge at the Silhouette Blog and they wanted us to create with this fun floral ornament. It was already on my wish list so I moved it to my cart and a few seconds later I was playing with it. I cut it several times and discarded a few of the outside layers except on the main flower in the center.  I knew I wanted to create a window in the center of the card and when I pulled out my Nestabilities shapes, none were the right size. That is one of the reasons I love my Silhouette- with their software you can create just about any shape any size you want. I created the white frame and attached the flowers over a glittery green sheet.

My second feminine card was so easy to create, and I love the way it turned out. I used the print and cut function to cut out the rainbow ladies. I attached them to a card created with two sided paper and a border cut with my Martha Stewart border punch. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

I am entering these cards in the Anything Goes challenge at QKR Stampede and the Say it with Flowers challenge at Crafty Catz.

Stamping and Silhouette smiles, Karen
