Celebrations on Silhouette Sunday

The challenge this week at the Silhouette Blog Weekly Challenge is to use an interactive element in our card. I love making cards that surprise the recipient when they open the card. Here is what pops up when this one opens:

Both the front and the inside are completely Silhouette America cutting files, so I simply cut and attached. So easy but the result is a fun holiday card.

My second celebrations card is for a friend who likes margaritas. I cut out  all the pieces in the different colors and simply put them together and added some glitter on the glass to complete the margarita. I embossed the yellow piece with a celebratory embossing folder (Crafts Too) and added the sentiment.

I am entering these cards in the Anything Goes challenges at Through the Craftroom Door and Sister Act.

Stamping and Silhouette smiles, Karen
