Experimenting with Stencils

Not sure if I like this card or not? I have been experimenting with my new stencils and it is a good thing I am taking this class on Stencils on line this weekend because I love them, but don't know what to do with them. I sponged blue distress ink on kraft paper after attaching a tree stencil from TCW (The Crafter's Workshop). The words are a stencil from Wendy Vecchi by Studio 490 and I added a couple lines (just cuz it seemed it needed something under the words) with a Tim Holtz stencil. I added a butterfly and pearl to complete the card.

I like this one better:) Probably because it is cheerier and I am loving the yellow and grey color combo lately. And of course I love butterflies:) The stencil is from Memory Box and the sentiment is from Precious Remembrance shops.

I am entering the second card in the Anything Goes challenges at Through the Craft Room Door and Sweet Stamps.

Stamping smiles, Karen
