It’s another Designer’s Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression’s blog. It’s
Geri’s turn and the theme of her challenge is “Something New to You.” After you
make your card with something that is new to you, you can enter it for a chance
to win some awesome Repeat Impressions rubber! Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's cards for
this DCC challenge.
It was very
easy for me to make a card with something new from Repeat Impressions because
not long ago, we received our package of new stamps for the New Year. One of
the stamps I chose is the Skating Penguins. They just make me smile. I paper
pieced their scarf and hat, colored a little and cut them out in a diamond
shape. I layered on a teal blue diamond, then patterned snowflake paper, then
on another diamond shape with embossed dots. I added some more RI snowflakes
and a perfect sentiment for this winter card.
I am
entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at The Squirrel and the Fox
and Kaboodle Doodles.
Stamping
smiles and Happy New Year, Karen
