Winged Things Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions

It’s another Designer’s Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression’s blog. It’s Brenda’s turn and the theme of her challenge is “Winged Things”.  After you make your card with wings of some kind, you can enter it for a chance to win some awesome Repeat Impressions rubber! Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's cards for this DCC challenge.

I have been admiring the acetate cards several of my fellow Rock Stars have been making and decided to try one myself. I found this fun spotted acetate and created the card base with that. I die cut two white scalloped ovals (Spellbinders) for the front and inside of the acetate card. I stamped Repeat Impression’s beautiful large butterfly in blue ink on the white front piece and again on a dotted peach dp. I cut out the peach one and attached in the center with glue dots so the wings are raised above the flat image. I added some baker’s twine and sequins to complete the front of the card. Here is a picture of the inside of the card where I added one sequin, a sweet sentiment and another smaller butterfly both from Repeat Impressions, of course.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at My Craft Spot and the punches and die-cuts challenge at Lexi’s Creations.
