Summer Fun Sketch Card from Repeat Impressions

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's time for another fun sketch challenge at The House that Stamps Built and we are challenging you to make a card using the sketch below and link it up for a chance at some great Repeat Impressions rubber! For all the details on what you can win and to see the other Rock Stars cards using this sketch, please visit our blog.

I am loving summer now that it is finally here in Wisconsin and Repeat Impression’s Summer Frame is perfect for a sunny summer card. I attached two yellow strips following the sketch to a white front piece and sponged the whole piece with an orange ink through a stencil. Then I stamped the Happy Summer and attached to a yellow card base. I stamped the Summer Frame on light blue and again on white. I paper pieced the sweet girl’s swimsuit, colored the rest with markers and attached her in the center of the frame.
Here is the sketch for you to follow when you create a card for our challenge. You do not need to use Repeat Impressions stamps to enter our challenges, but you get an extra chance to win if you do!

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Crafting from the Heart and Through the Craft Room Door.

  1. Wow Karen, this card is so cool! I love the "splatter" splash, it reminds me of when someone jumps into the pool. lol Your cute little girl with her bucket is just adorable. Hugs, Brenda

  2. Great card design. I think the splash reminds me of a hot sizzling summer day and of course, one cools off at the beach.
