I think Easter peeps are so cute- don't like to eat them, but just like how they remind me of Easter baskets and sweet treats. When I saw a set of super cute peeps sentiments and a bunny die from My Creative Time I just had to buy it. I remembered how I had some yellow and pink flock hiding in my craft room from years ago, I thought it could be perfect for the peeps. But I also remembered how difficult it used to be to attach the flock with liquid glue evenly so it looked nice. Then I had a brilliant idea- cut the peeps out of two sided sticky paper, then remove the covering and the flock stuck perfectly. I attached a colorful Easter dp to the front of a white card and then I created a framed window to the inside of the card using a Lawn Fawn stitched die and a Nesties rectangular die. The sweet peeps were attached to the inside of the card with the pink one raised with pop dots. I stamped Happy Easter and cut it out with a speech bubble die also from My Creative Time. Under my favorite peep, I stamped "To my best Peep". Too cute!
I am entering this card in the inspiration photo challenge at My Creative Time (inspired by the cute Easter bunny) and the food related challenge at Open Minded Crafting (peeps are food, right?)
Beautiful Karen, love the little bunnies.

ReplyDeleteSo cute and all the Peeps and Peeps lovers will really like this card. I am not a fan of eating them but always get them for the wee little ones to chew on for Easter. So had to get our little 9 month old granddaughter some of these.
