I am sharing a CAS card I made with Bister crystals and saran wrap on watercolor paper. I have posted many cards made with this technique on glossy paper which results in a much more dramatic background, but this time I tried it on watercolor paper and the background is very subtle which is perfect for a sympathy card. After the background dried, I simply sponged black distress ink through a lovely leafy branch stencil from Stencil Girl and stamped the beautiful sentiment from Rubbernecker.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Simon Says Stamp and Wonderful Wednesdays.
Pretty card Karen and I'm intrigued by this technique - must remember to look for it during the summer holidays! Thanks for following my blog; sorry I'm a little belated in returning the favour!

What a fabulous result from your 'experiment' on water colour paper, and a stunning card.
