Nate's Minion Card for his Baby Cousin


My grandson visited me recently and he made the Minion card above. I found one with brilliant instructions to CASE here on this blog, so we owe a big thanks to Kelley Kent for sharing. I borrowed a friend's Stampin' Up circle flip die and then I pulled out every circle and some other punches I own, as well as a bunch of colored scraps for Nate to make the various parts of this cute card. Here he is presenting the card to my son and his wife. Nate's baby cousin is due the end of November.


And here is a picture of how Nate signed the card he made and addressed the envelope:

So sweet! I am entering Nate's card in the Kids Summer Vacation challenge at Simon Says Stamp. and the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop to use snippets or scraps.

    Oh WOW! I just LOVE this! What a talented grandson you have! My great-nephew would adore this card for his birthday later this year.

    Hi Karen! A huge welcome to the Snippets Playground, I've been following you for a while and love your work. Nate is obviously gonna take after you - what a terrific Minion card he made - and as Liz rightly says, the other girls will love to see it. I'll be sure to do a little welcome for Nate in my Snippets post this coming Sunday - hope he gets to call by and see his card on a challenge blog. :)

    Saw this clever card over at the Snippets Playground, and pleased to see another youngster who is honing his talent & skills to give joy to someone else with a wonderful card. This is just beyond cute,and a folded card as well; kudos to Nate for it's creation. One of the best representations of Minions that I've seen yet, and how sweet & thoughtful of him to make it for his new cousin. I'm sure it will be a treasure in the Baby book too. Well done Nate!
