Today I am sharing a couple more cards I show in my latest YouTube video here on how to use fabric to add beauty and dimension to our handmade cards. I chose to emboss the front of these cards with my embossing folders which are often sadly neglected these days. The embossing also adds great texture and makes for a very elegant easy card. I added a beautiful sympathy sentiment and another die to the inside of this card:
I make and teach Christmas cards all year so I am never in a panic come December to make a bunch more. I love how this one turned out with Christmas fabric, a poinsettia embossing folder from Tim Holtz, gold Nuvo Drops and a beautiful sentiment die from Sue Wilson. Here is my simple wish on the inside of this card:
I love your video on how to add fabric to a card. I purchased some fabric a long time ago to make my son a card and now I can do that. Plus you could use any fabric for any holiday. This is so very cool, thank you Karen.

I love embossing and think it adds such a subtle texture to our creations, Karen! I need to dig out what's left of my quilting fabrics and try this technique! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
Very pretty, (nicely done) Christmas cards. I enjoy using fabric on my cards...Haven't tried your technique...but I definitely have it on my "to do" list. Great video!
