It’s Saturday and time for another
fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This year, all challenges at
SAS4Kids are Anything Goes 4 Kids! We will usually have an alternative
theme that you can choose to follow, but are not required to. Create and link
any card that is appropriate for a child and your card could be chosen as one
of our top three cards and you could join us as a guest dt member on a future
challenge.
The theme for this challenge is: Anything Goes 4 Kids OR For Moms From
the Kids! We would love for each
kid in our many hospitals who is inpatient on Mother’s Day to be able to pick a
card or two for their Mother or Grandmother or other special females in their
lives. It is not required that you send in your card if you enter our
challenges, but our kids would sure love it if you did!
I created a card for a special Mom
using new stamps and dies from Stampendous. The background is a pretty floral napkin and
I share how to do that easily in a new video Monday April 9th. I
stamped and die cut out the Stampendous Cling Fresh Peony stamp out of one napkin
piece and after gluing it to a black foam peony, I attached it back on the
floral napkin card front. I also die cut a stitched oval from the napkin piece
and stamped Mom using alphabet stamps from Concord and 9th. I also raised that
on black foam before attaching and then I added some pink jewels to complete my
Mother’s Day card.
I am entering this card in the April Link Party at CropStop. Be sure to check out the rest of the cards from TEAM SAS here and we would love it if you entered our challenge.
What a gorgeous card for a worthy cause! Love your pretty napkin background and the raised flower! So very, very pretty!
