It’s Saturday and time for another
fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This year, all challenges at
SAS4Kids are Anything Goes 4 Kids! We will often have an alternative theme
that you can choose to follow, but are not required to. Create and link any card
that is appropriate for a child and your card could be chosen as one of our top
three cards and you could join us as a guest dt member on a future challenge.
The theme for this challenge is: Anything Goes 4 Kids with no
alternative theme.
HEADS UP- MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Our
next challenge on July 21st is our 175th and we are celebrating that milestone
with a huge blog hop with many prizes to be won! The theme is Christmas in July
4 Kids, so you may want to get a Christmas or holiday card appropriate for a
child ready to go as there will be EIGHT random winners chosen from the
entrants in the challenge. And many prizes available both here and on each stop
of the blog hop but if you are too busy to hop, you can win simply by
commenting once on any of the blogs and the SAS4Kids blog!!
I created a sweet card for a child
that features a Layered Chocolate Bar stamp set from Kat Scrappiness. All
children of all ages love chocolate, right? I put the chocolate bar with its
wrapper into a pocket created with rounded square stitched dies from My
Favorite Things. I sponged the background and pocket with an aqua blue ink
through a new stencil from Simon Says Stamp called Tap Dance. Sweet (from Tonic Studios) was cut twice and
layered slightly offset.
Be sure to check out the rest of
the cards from TEAM SAS here and we
would love it if you entered our challenge.
I am entering this card in the Scrapy Land challenge (used a Tonic Studios die.)
