Once in awhile I see a card on Internetland that inspires me so much that I have to immediately buy the products used in the card and then make a card similar to one that blew me away. Here is a link to the blogpost and video I watched to make these subtle and gorgeous cards. The Stampin' Up products used are the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder and the Springtime Impressions large floral die. I also added a "thankful" sentiment cut with a Gina K Designs die to my cards. Here is the teal version the card as well as a close up that shows the lovely subtle dimension of the embossing:
And here are the purple and white versions:
I love the subtle texture of that embossing folder and am happy I saw Jackie's cards with it or I would not have purchased it. I CASED her tone on tone color schemes and added some monochromatic gems and pearls to complete my thankful cards.
These are STUNNING!! I love that you created three beautiful cards with such simple products. FABULOUS design!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Karen!! The die cut design and colours are beautiful and I love the simple die cut sentiment! :-) I did go to see the cards you CASE'd, they are gorgeous too and I can totally understand why you needed to buy the products!! :-D

ReplyDeleteOh Karen, these are just gorgeous! I love that big, bold scripty thankful die and the way you paired it with that great background die is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I'm thinking of getting this pretty die set also! Just wondering how it cuts? Do you have to use a metal shim to get a clean cut?
