Foiled and Fabulous Caped Sarcasti-Chick

Today I am sharing the second foiled and fabulous Taylored Expressions Sarcasti-Chick card I made for my newest YouTube video here. On the front are two starry foiling techniques made with Gina K Designs/Therm O Web Gold Sequins Fancy Foil. The little sparkly stars were created with Therm O Web's Transfer Gel through an Echo Park Stars stencil. The top stars were stamped with a Taylored Expressions stamp and die set called Cutting Edge - Stars and Versafine Ink, then embossed with a clear embossing powder. I die cut the top out with a matching die from that TE set and then I laid a piece of the gold sequin foil across the whole piece and ran it through my hot Minc. This shows that we can add the sparkle of foil to just about any stamp or stencil.

But of course the best part of this card is the lol caped Sarcasti-Chick and her super funny sentiment. I used stitched die cuts from Lil' Inker and My Creative Things to cut out the stars and oval and speech bubble. The front stands up to create an easel card.

For links to all the products used and to learn more about how to add foil accents to Sarcasti-Chick cards, watch the video here.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday and the Stamp On it challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday.
