I hope your holidays were blessed with family and friends! I have one more holiday card to share this year and it is one of my favorites that I made. I discovered the "floating easel" card this year on Internetland and love the look of it. It is easy to make and I shared how to do it in this video. The beautiful layered pinecone and sentiment on this card are from a set by Dina Kowal for Impression Obsession. I added snow to the pinecone with Nuvo Fresh Snow Glitter Accents. The stitched snowflake is from Lawn Fawn and the snowflake border is by Memory Box. Here is another look at the card folded down:
The sentiment is stamped on acetate and appears to be "floating" which is why the style is called floating easel card.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Scrapy Land. (Lawn Fawn die), and at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.
Happy New Year! Thanks for your support here on my blog and at my YouTube channel!
