I was very happy to see the new Susan's Garden Club dies at Tonic Studios and knew I had to purchase some to play with. But the die set that excited me the most was the Gathering Basket and Galvanized Bucket set because I love to play with techniques for wood and metallic looks on my cards and that is what I share in my newest video here.
This is the card I demo in my video. Just look at the black and gold texture on the bucket in this card! It is very hard to show the beauty in a still photo so be sure to check it out in the video here. I show how easy it is to create that look with my Metallic Camo Technique using specialty embossing powders from Stampendous and Seth Apter. I filled the bucket with ferns from Susan's Garden Club at Tonic Studios and Bright Rosa from Paula Pascual. The card is an easel card and stands up with another die from Bright Rosa:
I created this textured metallic bucket with Aged Black and Aged Spice Embossing Powders from Stampendous and Rocky Road from Seth Apter and filled the bucket with pretty flowers from the Columbine Die Set from Tonic Studios and Susan's Garden Club. The "celebrate" is also from Tonic Studios. Here is a look at this bucket close up:
It is even prettier in real life with wonderful colors and bumpy texture. To see how easy it is to achieve this look as well as see two more techniques, watch here. Thanks for your visit here today and for your support of my YouTube channel.
I am entering the second card in theSomething Feminine challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.
Beautiful bouquets of gorgeous flowers. I love the containers for them too.
