Background Dies and Favorite Techniques with Nuvo Shimmer Powder


Still photography does not do justice to the shimmery sparkly front of this joy fold card created with Nuvo Shimmer Powders and tissue paper in my newest video. I show how to make it very sparkly or more subtle as on the inside piece of this card:

Both are very pretty and I added an uplifting message using dies from Penny Black and Bright Rosa. 


The easiest way to create colorful backgrounds is to simply sprinkle the Nuvo shimmer powders onto watercolor paper and then let it dry. Then cut out a pretty background die like this one from Gina Marie Designs and a circle sentiment from Impression Obsession.

    Oh my!! I LOVE that first card with the gorgeous background and the ORANGE!! Just so striking!! Your second card with the more subtle treatment is totally fun. I LOVE how you used that PB die!!

    Great video on the techniques. I like the ideas for tissue paper use and the plastic crinkle.
