In the YouTube video I posted on Monday here, I showed how to add the sparkle of snow to our cards in three different ways. On the cards I am sharing here today, I used the easiest way and my favorite - Nuvo Fresh Snow Glitter Accents. I started with a pretty snowy background paper from Echo Park's Celebrate Winter Paper Pad and then die cut SN and W using the Kat Scrappiness Condensed Uppercase Alpha Dies. I raised the letters up on fun foam and placed them back in the letter holes following the Eclipse Technique. The "O" is a stitched snowflake die from Lawn Fawn and I added snow to all using the Nuvo Fresh Snow Glitter Accents. On the inside, I stamped some Winter Wishes and snowflakes from the Snow Season Winter Wonderland Sara Davies Stamp Set, and added a set of Gina Marie Designs Mittens.
On my second card, I also used Nuvo's Fresh Snowfall Glitter Accents to add snow to the snowy paper and winter scene in the snowglobe die cut with Gina Marie Designs Snow Globe Die Set. There are also snowflakes in the Kat Scrappiness Frosty II sequin mix in my snowglobe shaker. The paper is once again from the Echo Park Celebrate Winter 6 x 6 paper pad I purchased at Kat Scrappiness.
Winter snow is pretty on cards and pictures but not so nice if you are homeless and out in the cold. Please help in any way you can and remember that if you click any of my links and purchase any products at Kat Scrappiness between December 7th and 10th, 15% of what you spend will be donated to the Coffee Oasis! Be sure to comment as you hop for chances at many prizes from our generous sponsors.
