i(heart)2stamp Sketch & Curtain Call Act 33
Couple more fun challenges this week inspired me to make this card. The sketch from i(heart)2stamp
and the colors from Curtain Call Act 33 combined to make this fun card. The stamps are from Inkadinkado and Stepping Stones Designs and the punch from EK Success.

Card Patterns Sketch 67 & Critters Challenge
I created this fun kids birthday card using the sketch from Card Patterns 67 and the theme from this month's Critters Challenge. I paper pieced the hippo and colored the rest with copics and sponging. I just love the saying with this image but they came from two different stamp companies: Whippersnapper and Amuse. I have a bunch of the ribbon brads and forget to use them but this sketch was perfect for them.

TESC 116 Sketch Challenge
The sketch from Taylored Expressions was fun to work with this week. I used stamps from Just Rite to make the focal point. The large brads at the right complete the card and the center one has a rub-on it.

Paper Players #1, Cute Card Thursday & Secret Crafter Challenges
I created this card for three challenges this week: a great sketch from Secret Crafter, a theme from Paper Players Challenge #1 (Father's Day), and Cute Card Thursday's colors of blue, orange and black. I really like how it turned out. The oval stamp is from Northwoods and the sentiment is an old one from TAC that I cut apart and punched into circles. The border punch is from EK Success.
Blogger was down all morning so wish me luck as I try again to get this posted!

Castastic CWC006 Challenge
The challenge this week at Castastic was to focus on the sentiment. I used a lovely sentiment from Verses Rubber Stamps to create a CAS sympathy card. The sentiment and the sticker are on the inside of the card. I cut out a frame with a Nesties label die, sponged the edges, embossed what was left of the front and added some pearls.

Stamp Simply #142 Sweet Stuff
Stamp Simply's challenge this week was to use Sweet Stuff in our cards. I saw this idea in a recent card magazine and thought it would make an easy but cute card for my kids this month. The body of the card is 8" x 3", folded in half so 4" x 3" finished size without the popsicle stick (so will fit in a A6 envelope). Used a small nestie scalloped circle for the "bite" and corner rounder and some cute ribbon to complete.

C4C & Cuttlebug Spot Challenges
I had fun this morning creating this card to qualify for several challenges posted this week. The challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges was to create a tent card and the CB Spot challenge was to create a Dad's or Grad's card. I used the colors from a third challenge then after finishing, realized it was supposed to be a boy's birthday card. Next time I should read more thoroughly...
I paper pieced the tie (DRS stamps) and colored the rest with copics. Of course the orange paper was embossed with a CB folder and the holes cut with Nesties.
The second pix shows what the inside of the tent looks like. I hung the tie with scrapper's floss from a fancy paper clip. Fun card to make.
