As I show in my newest video, tags and tag cards can be made for any season or reason and the new Watercolor Woodland Sprigs wide washi tape from Memory Box is perfect for tags and tag cards! It looks totally different depending on what color of cardstock you attach it to. I made this birthday tag card with the Memory Box washi tape and dies from Crealies (tag), Karen Burniston (sentiment) and Sheena Douglas (the leafy swirl.) I used stencils on all the tags I made for the video, and on the back of this birthday tag card, I feature stencils from Altenew and The Crafters Workshop.
This masculine tag card for Dad was created with a large tag die from Crealies, an alphabet die from Karen Burniston and pinecone and branch dies from Tonic Studios. On the back I decorated my pocket with a pretty stencil from Gina Marie Designs and a "for you" die from Impression Obsession.
I have been playing with foils through stencils on the Memory Box washi tape and love the look of the sheen created when the MINC slighly melts the washi tape grabbing gold foil in unexpected places. The stencil I used on the front and back is from The Crafter's Workshop and I again used a Crealies die to cut the stitched tag shape. Of course the foil and transfer gel used are from Deco Foil and Therm O Web.
This tag could be used for Christmas or anytime and for a special guy or girl. It can be a card or a tag on a present and I show that versatility in my video here.
