Friday Fun Friend Card from Crackerbox Palace

It's Crackerbox Palace Friday and toay I am sharing a card I made recently with some fun stamps from Crackerbox Palace. One of the reasons I love designing with CBP stamps is their huge selection of laugh out loud stamps. I love using humor in the cards I make and hope the recipients enjoy it too.
To make this card, I started with a Tim Holtz embossing folder that reminds me of what a cracked egg mess would look like. I find I am using washi tape more and more in my cards. It is such an easy and fun embellishment to use. I stamped and cut out the egg and raised it with a pop dot onto the brown diamond piece. Then I stamped the perfect sentiment to complete the card.
I like how it turned out and hope you do too. Please visit the website to see these and many other awesome Crackerbox Palace stamps.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Through the Craftroom Door and Simon Says Stamp.

Party Time Tuesday and Celebrate the Occasion Challenges

Anything Goes at Party Time Tuesday this week and at Celebrate the Occasion they want to see Butterflies. I am sharing another Color Me Toppers card (Paper Wishes). These are lovely embossed card fronts with sentiments and embellishments available. I simply used sponges and die inks to color the butterflies and sentiment piece and attached the front to a card. I added a few pearls to complete the card.

What If? Wed. Sketch Challenge

It's time for another fun sketch challenge at The House that Stamps Built and we are challenging you to make a card using the sketch below and link it up for a chance at some great Repeat Impressions rubber! For all the details on what you can win and to see the other Rock Stars cards using this sketch, please visit our blog.

I used the fun “Moosage from Me” stamp to make this card. I started with a couple strips of grey washi tape on a white card base. I stamped the moose and his message multiple times on the new two square layers and one time on the focal point piece. I framed that piece with black so it stands out.

Here is the sketch for you to follow when you create a card for our challenge. You do not need to use Repeat Impressions stamps to enter our challenges, but you get an extra chance to win if you do!

I am entering this card in the challenge at Created with Love for at least 3 layers and the Anything Goes challenge at Fitztown Challenges.

Raisin Boat and Cards for Men Challenges

Father's Day is the theme at Raisin Boat Challenges this month, and at Cards for Men, they want to see our cards for Dad. I had fun creating this CAS card for Father's Day. The shirt is simply three white pieces with rounded corners and a space between them that looks like suspenders. The bow tie is a stamp from Stampin' Up that I stamped on red paper and cut out. The sentiment is stamped on red and punched out with a SU punch.

Silhouette Sunday Featuring Silhouettes

I love my Silhouette die cutting machine and I also love using silhouette images on my cards. This kitty cat Father's Day card is for my DH as he loves our kitty and the color orange. I started with the scalloped circle shapes that are the featured shapes for this week's Weekly Shape Challenge at the Silhouette Blog. I then cut the kitty silhouette and the banner sentiment tag, all cutting files from the Silhouette store. I stamped the sentiment and added some pearls and washi tape to complete the card.

I love this silhouette love card I created with more cutting files from the Silhouette store. I started with a shades of blue paper I created with a file from Silhouette. I cut raindrops in the top part of that background. The couple smooching under an umbrella was cut out in black and also in a rainbow stripe that I created with the Fill Gradient Option. I used the umbrella part in the rainbow colors and decided to layer the rest of the rainbow image just behind the black silhouette couple. I created a rectangle in my drawing area and filled it with the same rainbow colors and then cut out the love die (from W Plus 9.)

I am entering this card in the "To Die For" challenge at Polkadoodles.

My Heart Pieces and Addicted to Stamps Challenges

Anything Goes this week at Addicted to Stamps and at My Heart Pieces, they want us to use a sentiment. I am sharing a card I made with a a product from Paper Wishes called Color Me Card Toppers. The whole front of this card and the sentiment piece are parts of this kit, and I chose to sponge in the colors you see on the card with various dye inks. I attached the card front to a white card base and added a pearl to complete the card. I love how it turned out and it was so easy.
