Crealies Gate Fold Pop Up Surprise Cards

Easter is coming and kids of all ages love to get interactive pop up cards in the mail, right? Just look at what happens when this card comes out of it's envelope:

The Easter chick in her decorated egg wiggles and dances on an Action Wobble and the card stands up for display. In my new video here I show how easy this card was to make with the new On The Move #15 Fold Flat Box Card die set from Crealies. I think this card looks like a traditional gatefold card until the card pops open and so I made this card with the die set too:

I love a versatile die set that can be used in many different ways to stretch our crafty dollars! I chose to add a belly band on this card and not to fold in the triangular folds on the top and bottom and have a perfect gatefold card. The layers with and without stitching are part of the die set too, and I added a Heart with Rough Edges and the wish is a layered Texto Negativo Happy Anniversary die, both from Crealies of course.

This is the wedding or anniversary card I show how to make step by step in the new video. I like being able to choose if I want two layers with the top layer stitched or not, or one layer as I did on the triangles and the inside piece. Here you can see this card fits easily into an A2 envelope and will pop up to delight the recipient and stand up for display.

I had great fun playing with the Crealies On The Move #15 die set and hope these cards and my new video encourage you to give some of the ideas and products a try!

I am entering the first card in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

More Fun Easy to Make Postcards from My Newest Video

Here is another postcard made with the new A2 Postcard die from Kat Scrappiness that I share in my newest video here. I am die cut crazy and wanted to use some new dies I have recently purchased on some of the postcards. I was careful to glue them down completely, but if when I mail I am concerned that the diecuts might get ripped going through the machines at the post office, I can always just throw them in an A2 envelope to mail. The pretty Gilia Flower Frame die is from Memory Box, and the sentiment die is from Sue Wilson and Creative Expressions. Here is a look at the other side of this postcard with the same cloud cardstock and some rub on butterflies from 49 & Market:

This picture shows very well the stitching that the A2 Postcard Die from Kat Scrappiness does creating a place to write a message and address the postcard. Here is another postcard I made with a new die from Poppystamps and a Sizzix sentiment:

I recently purchased some Balloon Occasions dies from Sizzix with fun balloons and "strings" that are also scripty sentiments. I used them on this postcard making sure to glue them down very thoroughly:

The colorful sentiments and other decorative elements are Dazzles stickers from Paper Wishes. I had great fun making these postcards in just minutes and hope they inspired you to watch the new video and give some of the ideas and products featured a try!

I am entering the last postcard in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Postcards Made Simple With Dies, Stencils and Stamps

I love to send smiles in the mail and in my newest video I am sharing a quick easy way to use our dies, stamps, stencils and rub-ons to create easy to mail postcards. I recently purchased the new A2 Postcard Die from Kat Scrappiness and had fun making quick lovely postcards for special people I know.

This is the postcard I made in the new video with the new postcard die and Bokeh Hearts layering stencils both from Kat Scrappiness. I also added a rub on stitched heart from 49 and Market. Here is a look at the front of the postcard made with a Build A Rainbow stencil from Kindred Stamps and a pretty stamp sentiment from Sizzix:

As I show in the new video, it takes just minutes to make a pretty postcard like these with this die and stamps stencils and rub-ons. Here is another one I made with another stencil from Kindred Stamps:

The stamps are from a mixed media set by Stamperia and I added some more Roughly Sewn Rub-ons from 49 and Market. The back of this postcard should bring a big smile to the recipient:

That LOL sentiment stamp is also from Kindred Stamps. Postcards are easy to make and less expensive to mail and I had great fun making the many I share in the new video here.

Two More Spellbinders Punched and Sewn Beauties With New Dies

I combined layers of three new die sets from Spellbinders to make 5 gorgeous easy to make cards for my newest video here. Both of the cards here started with two layers of the Scrolled Punch and Pierce Cover Plate and then I added on Stitched Fan pieces and sentiments from the Thanks Enclosed Sentiment die set. It takes just minutes to sew the fan pieces with metallic thread and I love how each of these cards turned out!

I added a few gems to the purple card and continued the sentiment inside the card with another Scrolled Punch and Pierce piece. I easily designed 5 cards with these new dies and could have kept on going. To see all the cards and how I adjusted a bridge card template to feature these dies, watch the new video here.

Spellbinders Stitched Fans, Sentiments and Scrolled Punches 5 Ways In a New Video

I am die cut crazy and get so inspired when I receive unique innovative dies like the ones from Spellbinders I made 5 different cards with for my newest video here. I love the stitched dies from Spellbinders especially the smaller dies like the ones in the new Stitched Fan die set which can be sewn in just a few minutes. Here is the bridge card I show how to make in the new video with those dies and also the Thanks Enclosed Sentiment dies:

The new sentiment die set from Spellbinders has 42 separate dies so it can say soooo much with and without shadows. I used both copper metallic thread and variegated color thread from DMC to do the easy sewing on these and the other cards I share in the video. Here is another card I made with the new Stitched Fan and Thanks Enclosed sentiment dies and the same colors of thread:

I just love how this card turned out featuring the new Scrolled Punch and Pierce Plate along with layers from the other two new die sets. I cut the Scrolled Punch plate out of a marble cardstock and raised each layer with mounting tape. These dies make gorgeous cards in just minutes!

I am entering the first card in the Fun With Dies challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.
