The challenge this week at
Sassy Cheryl's is to use no designer paper and at
Sweet Stamps, we are to use roses. This is one of the cards we are making in a stamp camp I am hosting with a friend this weekend. It features some lol stamps from Repeat Impressions and a fun newer background technique. Did you know you can create a subtle background just by applying ink all over an acrylic block and stamping on your card with it? The green in the center of this card was done that way. I embossed the borders with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, cut with deckle scissors and distressed with black ink. The rose was paperpieced.
Bet we all have a guy in our life we could send this funny card to:) I stamped the punch line stamp twice and punched out the "official seal".
