It’s another Designer’s Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression’s blog. It’s
Christy’s turn and she is challenging us to make a card using a masking
technique. You can then enter it for a chance to win some awesome Repeat
Impressions rubber! Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's cards for
this DCC challenge.
For my card I started by masking all but a two
inch square on a white card. I sponged the opening with light green ink and
stamped Repeat Impression’s Balsam Fir Silhouette stamp several times. After removing
the masking, I stamped the Pine Branch and For the Beauty stamps in black for a
CAS card. I was itching to add something or layer on another color, but left it
with the white space because I love the cards like that I see in Pinterest and
on other blogs. What do you think?
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes
(with a sentiment) challenge at Sentimental Sundays.
(Edited to add- I meant to schedule this to post Wednesday but hit the wrong date- the DCC challenge starts Wednesday October 10th. But if you are getting my blog posts by email, they are coming a day later with the new subscription service, so you should get this Wednesday anyway.. sorry for any confusion, and remember if you haven't signed up for the new subscription service and want to see my cards every day, enter your email in the box at the right.)
