For the Girls at Send a Smile 4 Kids!

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is For the Girls. Create and link any card for a girl and you could win one of our great prizes. And when you are making cards for our kids, keep teenage girls in mind as that is a type of card we do not receive enough of.

I have to say I just love my first card (above) this week:) I saw the sketch on Pinterest and used it to create this thank you card featuring the sweet Thank You girl from Saturated Canary. I cut the shape three times with a Spellbinders die in rust, white and green dotted papers. I cut them apart and attached with mounting tape to raise with a little space in between each piece. I embossed the rust piece with a Sizzix embossing folder. The sweet girl was printed, colored with Copics and paper pieced. I added some pearls and ribbon to complete the card. 

My second card was super simple to make but bright and cheery and fun. The Pansy Turtle and sentiment are from Doodle Pantry and I chose to use the colored version. I cut it out and popped it up with pop dots. I rounded some corners and added the fun sentiment to complete the CAS card.
