Dream Faux Tile Card for Classes

Today I am sharing a card I made for a new individual class in my home I have just finished designing for called Sponging and Inks and Acetate. That is the title also of my article in the newest Scrap and Stamp Arts July issue and I am teaching the same three background techniques in the class as were featured in this article I wrote. This one is called Faux Tile and is not at all hard to do. I scored the white cardstock piece diagonally, then sponged in the bottom corner with a light brown distress ink. Then I cut out the center with a Spellbinders oval die. The stamps are from a new set from Close to My Heart and I stamped the pretty lady on vellum. I colored her flower and used a stylus and thick mat to raise her arms, face and legs for dimension.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Just Inspirational and Ladybug Crafts Ink.

To see all the cards for the classes you could take in my home, just go to my Flickr albums here.

I loved reading the article and seeing your lovely samples in it. I am going to try this soon too. And, thanks for sharing exactly how you did it on your blog. Sounds even easy enough for me to do. LOL
