Look what I discovered recently!

Do you ever get so excited about a crafting idea or technique you can't sleep at night because all these card ideas are swirling around in your head? Call me crazy, but that happens to me. I recently joined a Facebook group that shares ideas and encourages the use of Bisters, Brushos, and Color Burst powders. I have learned so much already and one of the videos shared showed how to use crumpled cling wrap and B/B or CB on glossy paper. I have had so much fun playing with several ways to do this technique and this is the first card I completed with Bister powders. I am finding the Bisters work better than the Brushos for the first way I tried to do this technique. I sprinkled black, red and yellow Bister powders onto a glossy piece, spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist, and applied a scrunched up piece of cling wrap. The hardest part of this technique is waiting until the piece dries. It takes a very long time. Even after leaving overnight, when the cling wrap is removed, the piece is still damp and has to be dried with a heat gun. But the marks from the cling wrap are very visible. When I tried this with Brusho Colour Crystals, the cling wrap marks are much more subtle, but still lovely. I will share more cards with both soon. I cut a sentiment die piece with a brand new die from Sizzix called Ornate Labels and stamped Thinking of You from Amuse. I cut a Memory Box flying goose originally in dark brown, but decided that was too dark for the background. So I cut another one in kraft, embossed it with an embossing folder from C Gull, and attached so the brown shadow shows. I added some brown pearls to complete the card.
