One day when I was playing I decide to see how embossing with an embossing folder on a piece of glossy paper that was colored with Brusho Coloured Crystals would look. I embossed the Brusho piece with an embossing folder from C Gull, then cut it diagonally with the sentiment stamped diagonally on the white card base. I sanded the embossed areas just a bit and then raised the embossed pieces with pop dots when attaching to the card base. I die cut "Happy" and attached on the diagonal opening. The die cut and sentiment are from My Creative Time. I added a couple of punched butterflies to complete the card.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Simon Says Stamp and Creative Moments (with the option of using embossing.)

Gorgeous background and like how you split it and the design you created, just fabulous!
Oh Karen this is a stunner - love how you have enhanced the embossing with some sanding.

You've used my favorite color and a wonderful sentiment, Karen! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
