Bluebell Meadow Die and Stencil Set from Tonic Studios Two Different Ways

I have been playing with some more NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) for a challenge I wanted to enter and I made two very different cards with the same die and stencil set from Tonic Studios. Isn't this Bluebell Meadow Die and Stencil set from Tonic just gorgeous? For my first card above, I cut and embossed the die on the right side of a white piece of cardstock  measuring 3 3/4" x 8 3/4". On the left side I sponged through the matching stencil with my new favorite sponging tool, Smoothies by Creative Expressions and two colors of Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud Blending Ink. Then I added some dots of Nuvo Blue Lagoon Glitter Drops and attached the piece to a legal size aqua blue card base.

Sometimes when we are working with a large die and/or stencil, we want a standard A2 sized card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), so we have to think about the design in a different way. For my second card, I sponged through the stencil with a turquoise dye ink twice using different parts of the stencil on a white smaller card front. Then I cut the Bluebell Meadows die out of turquoise cardstock and sponged the butterflies with black ink while still in the die. I trimmed the butterflies out and attached them to the card front with mounting tape. I added my favorite Nuvo Blue Lagoon Glitter Drops from Tonic and attached the finished card front to an A2 sized turquoise card base.
