Embossing Folder Week Continues On My Blog With Three More Embossed Cards

I had so much fun playing with my embossing folders and techniques with them for my newest YouTube video and have three more easy embossed cards to share with you today. In the video I show how to use a diffuser from Sizzix to create an unembossed area to stamp on or highlight an element. I shared some homemade diffusers I made years ago, and I made this card with an oval diffuser. I embossed a copper background with a Tim Holtz embossing folder and the handmade diffuser and added a punched butterfly and "love you" layered die cuts from Honey Bee Stamps cut out of a Velvet Sampler from Elizabeth Crafts I found at Crop Stop.

It is a little hard to see, but I used a sweet puppy embossing folder from Darice to make this pet sympathy card. I like to use embossing folders on the whole card so the inside is textured too. I stamped the front and inside with some older Raisin Boat and Stampin' up stamps.

Another fun texture idea you can easily do with embossing folders is to create a quilt with different embossing folders and colors. I used a quilt embossing folder from Darice to emboss three colors of cardstock and cut the squares to 1 1/4 inches. I die cut white and black Lil" Inker "So Happy For You" squares and layered them slightly offset to complete the card.

To see all these cards and more including many embossing techniques, watch my newest video here.  Thanks for watching, sharing and subscribing and for visiting my blog too.
