It’s Saturday and time for another
fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! Again this year, all challenges
at SAS4Kids are Anything Goes 4 Kids! We will often have an alternative
theme that you can choose to follow, but are not required to. Create and link
any card that is appropriate for a child and your card could be chosen as one
of our top three cards and you could join us as a guest dt member on a future
challenge. We are also changing to a monthly challenge so new challenges will
be posted on the first Saturday of every month and you will have a whole month
to make and link your cards.
The theme for this challenge is: Valentines 4 Kids OR Anything Goes 4
Kids. I created a sweet Valentine using
hearts patterned cardstock, a stitched heart from Kat Scrappiness and layered “happy”
and “day” from Tonic Studios. But the best part is when the card is opened:
The inside pops up to say “Love You”
with a darling dragon from Karen Burniston. The pop up and triangle layers were
created very easily with a new Squash Fold die set from Crealies.
Be sure to check out the rest of
the cards from TEAM SAS here and we
would love it if you entered our challenge.
I am entering this card in the Something New Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday (the Squash Fold die from Crealies
is new to me), and the Anything Goes challenge at Scrapy Land (I used a Karen Burniston and Tonic Studios die.)

The kids will love it. Wonderful card.
Great card Karen! I love the fun patterned papers but the surprise inside just makes this card!

What an awesome card! The front of your card is absolutely adorable, but I am in LOVE with the inside of your card!! That dragon is so cute and the squish and fold die is amazing! It reminds me of those things we used to make when we were kids! Thank you for sharing this great card with us at Scrapy Land Challlenges!!
