Even though we wish we didn't, we all need sympathy cards sometimes, and in my newest video I am sharing many sympathy cards I made with softly brushed stencils along with favorite stamps and dies.
This is one of the cards I make in the video. The background was made with softly brushing on inks through a The Crafter's Workshop stencil and then I overstamped with stamps from Inkadinkado. The card was very easy to make, but will be perfect the next time I need a sympathy card.
I also show in the video how we can make our own stencils and for this card I die cut a rounded corner rectangle from Spellbinders out of vellum and then brushed on the blue fading out as I moved up the paper. Then I simply stamped the feather and birds from Visible Image and a perfect sentiment from Penny Black.
I share these and many other softly stenciled sympathy cards in my newest video here. Thanks for your visit here and for your support of my YouTube channel.

Thanks for these sympathy card ideas--it is always nice to have some on hand.
Beautiful sympathy card designs. I will have to remember this idea for future quick cards.
