Mojo Monday Celebrate Card

I got my cards done in time for some challenges. The one is for this week's sketch at mojomonday.blogspot.com. The butterfly is by Kitchen Sink Stamps and the "celebrate" is Hero Arts. The small butterfly and lacy edge punches are Martha Stewart, and the pink and burgandy pieces were cuttlebugged together.

Stampin' Royalty Birthday Challenge

I am spending this Saturday entering several challenges most with deadlines so be prepared for several posts today. This one is easy- do a birthday card- we all have one of those either already made or in our heads begging to get out, right?

http://stampinroyalty.blogspot.com/2009/11/stampin-royalty-challenge-1.html is the link for their site.

This one is another using wildlife patterned paper and nestability to make an easy but dramatic man's card. (Check earlier cabin post for more direction if wanted.)

Finsish This Bookmark Card

Posted by Picasa

I am just so happy to see the number of stamping friends who have subscribed to this blog so far! I am going to be sharing some of my favorite humorous cards in the next few days. This one is a bookmark card I designed using something sent to me years ago about finishing what you start by Dr. Phil. It cracks me up everytime I read it, and am hoping it does the same for you.

The girl on the front is a TAC stamp and is paper pieced.

I saw this saying on a card years ago and have used it to make hysterical cards for old guys for years now. This one is simple- just the numbers Cuttlebug folder and computer typing of the words for the front and inside. Hope it gives you a laugh today!

Love this stamp from Hambo Stamps! It just "cracks" me up! Hambo has the best line of humorous stamps around in my opinion! So you will see alot of them when I post my funny cards.

I am so happy to continue to see new subscribers to my blog each day. Don't worry- if you didn't post a comment, you still qualify for the drawing on Feb. 1st for the Blog Candy. I didn't know that I get an email each time someone subscribes, so I am keeping those and will use them to do the drawing. Good luck and

Green Banana Card

Staying with humorous cards for awhile, these stamps again are Hambo and crack me up. Once we reach a certain age, it is funny to rib others about getting old... It will be sad when we are too old to do that - when it's not funny anymore...

I did the instructions to send in the card to be possibly be published so in case you are interested: Cut yellow cardstock 8 1/2" by 4 1/4". Score at 5 1/2'. Cut green cardstock 8 1/2" by 2" and fold in half. Cut another green piece 3" x 4 1/4" and attach to front right side of card. Stamp bananas in green randomly on that piece.
Stamp two bananas in green in two corners of white piece 1 3/4" by 4" and color peel green. Stamp saying in center and sponge all but top of bananas with yellow ink. Attach this piece to front of folded small green piece. Stamp punch line in inside of folded green piece and attach as shown.

Thank You!

Posted by Picasa

I am so excited to see how many people have subscribed on this first day that I searched all through all my pictures of my cards to find a Thank You card to show my appreciation! The flower is an acrylic stamp from a set I just love but don't know who the stamp company is... I never paid attention to giving stamp credits before but now am. So I will not just put them in CD storage anymore, but will write down the stamp company to give credit to.. I also used a sizzix die and a cuttlebug border on the bottom. Sorry the pix is not the best- it was one of the first I took of my cards.
