Butterflies and Mason Jars
I love butterflies and mason jars and I found a set of stamps that include both at Inspired by Stamping. Of course they had a few add on sets for the mason jars (on sale!) and I couldn't resist those either:) I stamped the mason jar and the butterflies and cut it out. Then I stamped the red dotted cover, shaped it to give it dimension and added a pretty red bow. The sentiment is from the same set of stamps and is perfect. The butterfly stamp and punch on the top is from Stampin' Up.
The "shelf" the mason jar is standing on was created with Shimmer Sheetz and an embossing border by Darice. I sanded the Shimmer Sheetz after embossing.
I am entering this card in the Butterflies and Bows challenge at QKR Stampede and the Anything Goes challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. I am also entering this card in the Customer Gallery Contest at Inspired by Stamping.

Celebrations on Silhouette Sunday
Silhouette America is celebrating a birthday this month and so Celebrations is the theme in this week's Weekly Challenge at the Silhouette Blog. I am sharing a fun card that was so easy to make with my Silhouette Portrait cutting machine and a couple cutting files from the Silhouette store. I started with the stars and swirls card shape in white in an A2 size. I layered some polka dotted dp in the inside in my new favorite color- aqua blue. Then I cut the Wish Big with my Silhouette and added a few extra stars to finish the CAS birthday card.
I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at 4 Krafty Girlz.

Inspired By Stamping Washi Tape Chalkboard Card
I recently discovered Inspired by Stamping stamps and their blog challenge here, and today I am sharing a holiday card I made with some of the stamps I just got in the mail from them. I visited their website after seeing a card on another blog, and oh em gee- I wanted sooo many of the cute sets I saw. Wait 'til you see the Mason Jar sets I bought... but that will be in another blog post. Today I am sharing another favorite set I just received from Inspired by Stamping- Holiday Washi Tape stamps! The candy canes in the corner of the card were stamped on vellum, cut out and attached over a card base embossed with a new embossing folder by Sizzix. I also used a snowflake washi tape stamp across the top of the chalkboard I created with black cardstock and smudges of white pigment ink. The sentiment- also from Inspired by Stamping- is perfect for the chalkboard technique and I stamped it in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder and a heat gun. The "chalkboard" and the red layer were cut out with Nestabilities dies. I added a candy cane eyelet to complete the front.
I used the snowflakes washi tape stamp again on the inside of the card and another sentiment from the same holiday set. As you can see, I love to emboss the whole card - not just the front- for texture on all parts of the card.
I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Same sketch, Different Holiday on Crackerbox Palace Friday
It's Crackerbox Palace Friday and I am sharing another card I made with Crackerbox Palace stamps
and the same sketch as last week. A friend taught me the fun fold on the front
of the card. Simply take two sided designer paper, cut the right part in half
and fold back the top and bottom. I tied the center down with a bow of red
ribbon. I stamped the beautiful holly branch in green and added some stickles
berries. I stamped the Joy to the World to complete the CAS holiday card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Please visit the website to see these and
many other awesome Crackerbox Palace stamps.
I am entering this card
in the Anything Goes challenge at Party Time Tuesday and the challenge at
Creative Craft Challenges to use ribbon on our cards.

Masculine Vellum Technique Card
I have been loving the vellum technique a friend shared recently and designed this masculine card using it once again. You simply stamp the image (animals work well) with a black archival type ink on vellum. Using a stylus and a thick pad, you "color' in the white areas from the back of the vellum. This pushes out and whitens the area you "color" in with the stylus. In real life, you can see the zebra is raised out from the surface and looks really cool. I embossed the kraft frame with a SU embossing folder and added a simple repeated sentiment.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at Through the Craft Room Door and Bearly-Mine Challenges.

Happy Fall Y'All DCC at Repeat Impressions
It’s another Designer’s Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression’s blog. It’s
Brenda’s turn and the theme of her challenge is “Happy Fall Y’All”. Any fall themed card will do. After you make your
card, you can enter it for a chance to win some awesome Repeat Impressions
rubber! Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's cards for
this DCC challenge.
My favorite
time of the year is fall- I love the cooler temperatures, bright colors on the
trees and football! I used Repeat Impression’s fall tree and maple leaf to
create this CAS fall card. I stamped the fall tree on some lovely BoBunny
patterned paper and cut the center piece apart leaving space for a perfect
sentiment from RI. The center pieces were raised with pop dots for dimension. I
stamped and cut out the leaves in the same dp.
I am
entering this card in the Autumn Colors challenge at Lexi’s Creations and the
challenge at Paper Nest Dolls for Fall Cards.
