NBUS Friendship Challenge Card

I discovered a new challenge and a new favorite stamping term - NBUS - never-before-used-schtuff! I have a pile of NBUS on my bed in my crafting room and refuse to put it away until it gets used at least once. Makes having company kinda difficult, but I am adamant about that rule. Problem is that the pile keeps growing and there is never enough time to play with it all:) The challenge can be found here, and you should see her list of prizes!! Here is my card:

The NBUS is the celebrate stencil (Memory Box), the Stampin' up sentiment and the glittery tape on the side. I cut out the Stampin' Up manequin , sponged it with a Memory Box floral stencil and placed it back in the hole the die created. Then I sponged the celebrate and frame in black ink. I added the new sentiment from SU and a thin line of glittery tape I could not resist at Michaels recently. I am giving this card to a friend, so that is where the friendship part of the challenge comes in.

I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend.

I love the frame and of course the sentiments are just perfect!! Thanks for becoming a follower to me, I am now following you too!! It was fun using some of our NBUS and here's to using some more of it! lol Hugs, Brenda

I think you get extra credit for visiting and making friends, Karen! I see you've followed other friends of mine and I am so happy that you are following me! It's my pleasure to return the flavor!!

Your card is a stencil dream and a brilliant design! I love that addition of the glittery washi tape border, too!

I also applaud your resolve not to put your NBUS away until after it becomes US! If I did that I'd a) have to have an addition put on the Playhouse and b) have OCD hives from leaving so much schtuff out. See, that's how this whole NBUS happened; I have to find a home for my new things and put them away there and then, sadly, I forget about a lot of them. (I do have to laugh at the absurdity of having too many new toys!!)

Thank you so much for joining my NBUS Challenge, posting my button, and spreading the word to your readers! I appreciate it!! Have a great day! Hugs, Darnell
