Facebook Live Masculine Wiper Card

This is the card I made this morning on my Facebook Live at Karen's Kreative Kards and I just have to say it is so much better IRL especially to see the interactivity of the secret message that pops up when the card is opened. I showed how easy it is to make this masculine wiper card with a kit from Photoplay and gorgeous Foggy Forest papers and dies from Paper Wishes. Easy To Make Wiper Card (from a card kit) With Altenew Flowers

In Thursday's Facebook Live I am going to show how to make an easy wiper card using another card kit this time from Photoplay. I have tried to make wiper cards before but always struggled. The kits give you the exact pieces cut and scored to make the most complicated interactive cards super easy. Here is this card with the "wiper" up:

Of course it is much more effective to see the motion as the card is opened, so be sure to watch the Facebook Live here on my Facebook Page at 11:00 a.m. CDT tomorrow or on replay and you could win the card I make (with gorgeous Foggy Forest papers from Paper Wishes!) 

I made this gorgeous floral wiper card with a 3D embossing folder and layered flower die from Altenew. The sentiment that pops up when the card is opened was cut with a die from Sue Wilson and Creative Expressions. 

Facebook Live Bridge Card with Tonic Header Dies and Paper Wishes Romantic Florals Paper

I love how this bridge card turned out and you can still watch me make it and maybe win it by watching the Live video from yesterday (3/17/22) here on my Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook page, and leaving a comment before 3/23/22. Here is another view of the bridge card I made:

Isn't that paper gorgeous? It is from a 6 x 6 pack called Romantic Florals by Hot Off The Press at Paper Wishes. The beautiful "congratulations" sentiment die and the rose header dies are from Tonic Studios. I cut two of the roses and couldn't decide where to put the second one, but I decided to put it on top of the first fold in the bridge card. That may have been a mistake because then the card I made did not fit into a 5 x 7 envelope or a 6x6 square envelope which were the largest I own. But I solved the problem by making my own envelope in my WeRMemory Keepers Envelope Board. I am going to make a video soon using the Envelope Board again, but I can share that if you take a 12 x 12 piece of lighter weight patterned paper and use the score line of 4 7/8" on all sides, it makes an envelope just big enough to mail this card perfectly (6 1/2" x 6 1/4".) Whew! 

Here are the view of the card from the back (where I did add another piece of the lovely patterned paper over the bottom of the back of the rose header die as I said in the Live) and also the template picture I promised to post. As you can see you can choose to put the bridge on the top or bottom and also make the bridge piece a little taller or shorter than the 1 1/2" on the template.

Facebook Live Personalized Graduation Cascading Card

I had great fun creating this graduation cascading card in my Facebook Live this week. I used my hometown's school colors of gold and maroon and made it so easily with the Paper Wishes Zig Zag Stepper die set that I also featured in this week's YouTube video here. Here is another view of this fun card: 

The "you did it!" die is from Karen Burniston, the dancing grads die is from Taylored Expressions and the rest of the dies are all from Dies...To Die For at Shopscrapbook101.com. I rolled a $20 bill up and tied it like a diploma for my nephew's gift. Facebook Live Beautiful Slimline W Fold Card You Could Win!

This is the front of the slimline W Fold card I made Thursday on my Facebook Live here on my Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook Page. On the front I applied Creative Expression's Cosmic Shimmer Tantalizing Teal Lustre Polish through a slimline stencil from STAMPlorations called Beautiful Mandala Accent #1. I added a butterfly and a clear sticker sentiment (also from STAMPlorations.) Here are a couple views of the W fun fold inside:

I showed in the Live how to create the W fold and also how easy it is to add 49 and Market's Vintage Artistry rub on transfers to decorate the panels and even the back of the card fold and the signature piece. The sentiment stickers are from STAMPlorations and you could win a large assortment of them and this card I made simply by watching and commenting on the Live before next Wednesday (the 9th) and have a USA mailing address. Facebook Live Mini Slimline Balloons and Monkey Pop Up Card

I find I need kids cards the most these days and in this week's Facebook Live here, I made this mini slimline version of a card I shared in Monday's video featuring new dies from Karen Burniston. Here are some pictures of the inside of this card:

Super cute, right? But it is way better to show this card in a video like you can see on my Facebook page here, and if you watch and comment before next Wednesday (March 2nd), you could win this card!

Learn A Totally Different Way to Use the Products from Monday's YouTube Video

Remember this card from Monday and my YouTube video where I showed how to use the Panoramic Die Set from Hot Off The Press and Paper Wishes the traditional way as a 4 sided panoramic card? I love to find totally different ways to use the same dies and products to create a totally different card, and that is what I showed in this week's Facebook Live you can find here on my Facebook page. (Look for the 2/16/22 Live Video.) 

I learned on the Paper Wishes webisode about this die set how to put it on the inside of a card as a pop up from Teresa of the Paper Wishes design team. Here is a link to that video. I used the same awesome set of dies and stamps from Concord and 9th called Love You More to decorate this card but this time I am making the card for an adult female. We love our french fries and ice cream too, but also love our coffee and naps! And that's a lot of love! 

I framed the pillows and sentiments with a perfect ruffled frame cut with a die from Dies...To Die For at Shopscrapbook101.com.

Facebook Live Slimline Shaker Card

This is the card I made yesterday on my Facebook Live session. I used many of the same products I featured in this week's YouTube video but made it a horizontal slimline shaker. I created the vintage background with birds, flowers and butterflies by using 49 & Market's Flora and Fauna Vintage Artistry Rub-on Transfers. Then I die cut out the shadow from "Sending Paper Hugs" and the Shaker Heart, both from Kat Scrappiness. I raised the sentiment shadow up on fun foam and then glued both down back in the hole. I show an easy way to create a shaker in the Facebook Live with my favorite skinny foam strips from Motion Crafts. I filled the heart shaker with sequins from Kat Scrappiness and beads to help them really move. 

The shaker heart die cuts out a bunch of little hearts too cute to throw away, so I dotted my i with one and used a few on the inside of the card too:

My rectangle inside to write a message on was cut with a stitched rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness. I think the stitching makes it so much more interesting than a plain slimline rectangle.

Facebook Live Tall Slimline Featuring Pinkfresh Studios and Karen Burniston Favorite Products

I love to find different ways to use my favorite dies and products to stretch my crafty dollars and last night on my Facebook Live on the Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook page, I shared how to make this card that changes the Karen Burniston Little Labels Pop-up die set to a tall slimline orientation as you can see here:

I try to keep my Facebook Lives shorter (20 minutes to half hour) as I know your time is precious and as you can see if you watch (available on replay there too), this card was super simple to make but full of beautiful flowers and interactive pop up fun. The flowers are made out of Pinkfresh Studios In The Meadow wide washi tape and cut out so easily with the matching In the Meadow die. The HB2U die on the front is also from Pinkfresh Studios. Here is another view of that fun pop up inside the slimline card:

Facebook Live Valentine Pop Up Crocodile Card

I love to make pop up cards with Karen Burniston's Bitty Ball and Animal Add-on dies and I featured many of them in my YouTube video this week. Today on my Facebook Live I showed how to make this adorable Valentine Pop Up Crocodile card that I am going to send to my grandson. Change A Bright Feminine Love Card Into a Masculine Teenage Valentine Card

I had so many colorful foil pieces left after creating cards with the new Kat Scrappiness Love Sunburst die for my YouTube video this week, I just couldn't waste them. But I needed a teenage masculine Valentine, not a super bright feminine love card. In my Facebook Live this week, I show how to take the leftover pieces from the card on the left and make a masculine Valentine for my teenage grandson. 

The card I made is an easel card with the embossed sunburst foil toned down by sanding it. Here is a link to my Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook page where you can watch the Live on replay if you missed it at 11:00 CST Thursday. 

Nate is a Dungeons and Dragons fan so I popped up the D&D die with a perfect score for my perfect grandson to hold the easel card up. "You da best" was cut with a die from Simon Says Stamp and of course, the Heart Sunburst die is from Kat Scrappiness. The 3D embossing folder is from Stampin' up.

I tried something new today- I did my first Facebook Live and showed how to make this Valentine version of the Standing Pop Up fun fold.
