C.A.S.E. The Creator Collaboration

I am so happy to be participating in a C.A.S.E. The Creator collaboration this week through a Facebook group I belong to called Craft Collabs. We were each assigned another member of the group to check out their blogs, Instagram posts and YouTube and pick one project to C.A.S.E. (copy and share everything, or copy and selectively edit which I did), make our own and share on our social media platforms. I was matched with Fiona Stanton who is a Stampin' Up demonstrator from the U.K. and here is the project I chose to CASE from her blog here:

I loved the idea of four pretty thank you cards in a lovely matching gift box and matching envelopes, and I always love butterflies on any card! Here is my CASED project:

I used new pretty designer paper from The Paper Studio called Stargazer and created 4 cards with matching envelopes and a matching box. Fiona said her box was a Stampin' Up demo exclusive so I designed my own to fit A2 cards which is the size of card I prefer to make. The box closes with a couple magnets and once I figured out the measurements, is not hard at all to make. I had so much fun, I will be sharing a video in a few weeks on how to make one of your own with the matching cards. The layered "For You" die is from Tonic Studios.

Here are pictures of the 4 cards I made with the pretty Stargazer designer paper, a butterfly die from Tim Holtz, gems from Gina Marie Designs and a couple stamped thank you sentiments from Penny Black:

I am so happy with how these cards and matching box turned out and they were so easy to make! I thank Fiona Stanton for her inspiration!

Video and Guest DT- Masculine and Feminine Big Gift Tagzz With Crealies Stamps, Stencils and Dies

I often give gift cards as gifts and love making unique cards and tags to give them in. I am honored this week to the be the Guest DT on the Crealies blog and had so much fun creating with their awesome dies, stamps and stencils as I share in my newest video here.

I made a feminine version for a special coffee lover and a masculine mixed media version. On both large tags I used Nuvo Expanding Mousse for awesome texture and show how to do that in the video. Here are the backs of the large tags with the gift cards tucked in ready to give:

Crealies is located in The Netherlands and the first time I ordered I was a little nervous to see how long it would take to get my order. But I can share the service is excellent as are their prices. To see how easy it is to use the Crealies large tag dies and other dies as well as their stamps and stencils to make these fun gift tags, click here to watch the video. Bright Rosa Fern Border Die Set First Look

When I saw all the new dies just released by Paula Pascual in her Bright Rosa collection, the one I knew I just had to get was her Fern Border set. There are 16 dies in this set and it sells for around $20 which is very reasonable. I have no time to make any super duper cards right now with a big trip next week and a huge To Do list, but I just had to take a few minutes and cut all the dies and put them on a card so I could share with all my friends including you. The largest fern cuts a beautiful border on a 5 x 7 card and I simply cut all of them and put them on this card.

Aren't those fern dies just gorgeous? I can't wait to play more with all three of the Bright Rosa sets I received and to get some more dies in this collection and others to come. Watch this space....

First Cards With Brand New Bright Rosa Dies!

I am huge fan of Paula Pascual from watching her demos both on TV and at Creativation and was so happy to see her recent release of her very own line of dies called Bright Rosa! The dies are unique and imaginative and I wanted them all! But I settled for three sets to start with and today's cards were made with this Butterfly Band and Border bundle.

To be honest, I am going out of town next week and have a very long To Do list before I leave, so have no time to design any complicated cards. I intend to do more designing and show the versatility of these new dies in a video, but for now I simply cut all the dies from each set for simple cards. But I love how my first card turned out simply cutting the Butterflies Border dies and making a 5 x 7 Thinking of You card. The dies cut beautifully and you can cut a border on either or both sides of the butterfly border. I added a "thinking of you" sentiment die from Sue Wilson Designs and some gems from Gina Marie Designs (didn't have pink so I colored the white ones with a pink Copic.)

I bundled the Bright Rosa Butterfly Border and Band sets when I purchased them from Craft Stash to save a little money. The dies come from the U.K. and I got three large die sets for $60 which included shipping so that is not too expensive. I will play with more ways to use the large band when I have time, but for this quick card I simply die cut all the dies from the set and created a pop out butterfly on the inside of a 5 3/4" square card. The beautiful floral cardstock is from Crafter's Companion.

I am entering the first card in Scrapy Land's current Anything Goes challenge (inside die is from Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions.)

Two More Quilted And Easy To Make Wishing Cards

I am loving the new Quilted Triangles and "Wishing" Die Sets from Divinity Designs (formerly Our Daily Bread) and have two more cards to show you today. When you die cut the quilt and pieces out of a patterned paper and several colors of cardstock, you have enough pieces to make three cards. I made these two cards square and the first one layered on yellow and a green cardbase. The "Wishing" die comes with many stamped sentiments to choose from and I made this one a birthday card:

My second square quilt card switched the patterned, white and green pieces around and was layered on white and then a pink cardbase. There is a simple "happiness" wish on the inside as well as a punched butterfly - 'cuz you can never have too many butterflies, right?

If you would like to see how easy it is to make lovely cards with these two die sets from Divinity Designs, watch my newest video here.

Quilted "Wishing" Cards from my Newest Video

I am loving a new quilt die I recently purchased from Divinity Designs and it is so easy to make beautiful quilted patterns with it, I made a bunch of cards for my newest video here. I show that ease in the video with this card and the "Wishing" Die and stamp set has many stamped options to choose from.

This quilt I made with Altenew's Painted Fantasy Wide Washi Tape and the layered sentiment die is from Sue Wilson and Creative Expressions.

I love the expression "Wishing You Well" and was so happy to find it in this die and stamp set from Divinity Designs. To see how easy these cards are to make and many more samples with these great dies, watch my newest video here. Thanks for visiting here, watching and subscribing at my YouTube channel and for helping me #share the joy of creativity.

Video - Die Cut Crazy Series - "Wishing You" Quilted and Shutter Cards

I am die cut crazy and have so much fun designing with all the awesome dies that are available from my favorite companies! In the video I posted today I feature a "Wishing" die and stamp set from Divinity Designs (formerly Our Daily Bread) on all the cards I share. Here is the one of the cards I show how to make in the video:

It is a gatefold card with a belly band with the "Wishing" die cut and a butterfly. The pretty pink paper was created with Altenew's Painted Fantasy wide washi tape over pink cardstock. Look at the fun surprise when the card is opened:

Alcohol Ink and Deco Foil Wedding Card

I played with alcohol inks on Yupo paper and while the inks were still tacky, adding some gold Deco Foil for sparkle a long time ago and never got around to blogging this card. Here is a close up of the alcohol ink and gold foil:

I die cut LOVE out using a die from Die-namics, then raised it on black fun foam for the eclipse look. I die cut the bottom edge with a die from Lawn Fawn and the layered Mrs. and Mrs. were cut out of the same alcohol inked piece with layering dies from Honey Bee Stamps.

I am entering this card in the Wedding/Anniversary challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Sneak Peak of Next Week's Video Quilt Cards

I had so much fun making quilt cards with my new Quilted Triangles Die from Our Daily Bread for next week's video, I have two extra cards to share today as a sneak peak. I show in the video (which is live Monday the 17th) how easy it is to use this die set to make fun quilt cards. I had a previous quilt die set that I used once and swore never to use it again because it was so difficult to figure out where the pieces went! This die set is beautifully stitched and the sized triangles can go into any of the same size openings. I did the first card in patterned flowers, pink and white and adding a pink butterfly and "thinking of you" from Sue Wilson of Creative Expressions.

My second card was made in shades of peach and green and is prettier IRL. Come back Monday for more quilted cards with this great die set from Our Daily Bread (now known as Divinity Designs.)
