More Cards from the Amazing Crop and Create Cardmaking Virtual Event

I just finished my first batch of cards from the virtual classes I took this weekend at Crop and Create Delivered Cardmaking Spring 2023 and wish I had more time to play with all of the unbelievable dies, stamps and stencils we received. I am sharing the rest of the cards I have had time to complete so far in this blogpost and Tuesday's blog post if you missed it, but I know I will be designing more when I have the time.

I love making pop up cards, and the unique huge die set with stamps and stencils we received from Pink & Main was used to make the two cards above. The instructor in the online class showed us so many more samples of what can be done with this die set, and some were envelopes flat on the front of a card base, so I need to try that too. The ones above fold flat to mail in A2 envelopes.

I also love easel popup cards and shaker cards and NOT having to color my die cuts so I absolutely loved the many many dies, stamps, stencils (see the stripes added to the kitty??), paper, felt and shaker bits and confetti we received from The Stamps of Life! All that from one company! Unbelievable! And of course each company had a full length class where they taught us 3 cards, but I didn't have time to complete a third card in all the classes. But the classes are available on replay for me to watch as many times as I wish!

These berry sweet cards were made with a die set and paper from Scrapbook.com. We also received a matching stamp set and of course the instruction to make three cards. If you like the dies they are available here at Scrapbook.com, and the paper used is here.

The layering stencils from Taylored Expressions with matching dies and stamps were amazing. I used similar colors to what she taught with, but one of the best parts of the whole weekend was watching Jennifer McGuire work her magic with these and other products in our box! The colors she chose were unbelievably gorgeous!

Gina K taught several stepped up stencil techniques in her amazing class. I needed some thank you  cards so used some Sue Wilson dies in addition to the dies and stencils we got in Gina K's kit on these two cards.

The class and stencil ideas from Scrapbook and Cards Today class were amazing as was the whole weekend of classes and supplies in this virtual event they sponsored and organized!

I made this lovely card with dies from Crafter's Companion and foiled highlights from Therm O Web and added a die cut sentiment from Sue Wilson.

I learned so much and received soooo much amazing products, I highly recommend you watch for the sign up happening in April for the October event and join me next time. 2900 participants this time, and these events fill up quickly so watch the Scrapbook and Cards Today Facebook page for information to come soon.

I am entering the first card in the Anything Goes Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Crop and Create Delivered Cardmaking Amazing Weekend

I just finished my 5th Crop and Create Delivered Cardmaking weekend and once again, Scrapbook and Cards Today has done a fantastic job. I highly recommend this virtual event that happens twice a year- it is worth every penny! 4 days of world class instruction and a box of dies, stamps, stencils and many more goodies worth 4 times what we paid! I am going to share the cards I completed so far from each of the classes today and Thursday here on my blog, but I have many more stamp sets, dies and stencils I have to find time to play with soon.

These are two of my favorite cards I created this weekend with some amazing dies from Spellbinders that will be available for purchase on April 10. The Infinity Punch and Pierce Plate has three gorgeous pieces, and the Stylish Oval Hello You Floral is just beautiful. I know I will be using these dies (and the matching stamp) again and again.

Oh my- the 3D floral embossing folder with matching stencil from Altenew is so beautiful and I learned so much from their class on how to use this set!

I thought the stamp and stencil set from Concord & 9th was so imaginative and unique and I love how these cards turned out as taught by Cathy Zielske. I added my own sentiment dies and die cut instead of stamped the flowers, but otherwise I made my cards as I watched her class.

Honey Bee Stamps gave us this amazing owl die set as well as the gorgeous paper you see and a sentiment stamp set with a mix of fonts which I love! I was a bit intimidated by this set but in the class, Kelley Kohout explained it so well I was able to make these three cards easily and will be making some more owls soon! And I have a perfect birthday card for my twin brother whose birthday is Friday. I love that we are another year wiser, not older:)

I also needed a birthday card for my brother-in-law who lives in Arizona and the cards I created with Simon Hurley's Sedona Scene Maker stencil set from Ranger will be perfect for him! We got so much in our package from Ranger! Matching dies, stamps, Lunar paste and other tools!

I was overwhelmed with all the product and instruction from this unbelievable virtual cardmaking weekend presented by Scrapbook and Cards Today, and will share more cards on Thursday here on my blog.

Crealies Triple Fun Folds Video Series - Octagons Doubled!

Can we double the Crealies Fun Fold Fun? Why not? Today both on my YouTube channel and on Crealies, I have a new video in my continuing Crealies Creative Triple Fun Fold video series. This video features the Octagon Triple Fun Fold, and here is the first card I made with this innovative die set:

It's getting close to Easter and I made this sweet Easter Octagon Triple Fun Fold card with some of the new Easter dies from Crealies recent releases. Then I wondered if I could double the octagon fun folds and here is the card I make in the new video with that idea:

I didn't have any problem decorating all those panels because I had the Barbara series of dies and stencils from Crealies to design with. Here is a close up of all the panels on this card:

The Octagon Triple Fold whether doubled or not, stands up for display and folds flat to mail. I had great fun designing these cards and hope you will watch the new video here and give some of the ideas and products a try.

Slimline Cards with Ceya Glitter and Riley and Company Dies

I love to make shaker cards especially when I have unique glitters like these 3 Glow In The Dark colors from a set of 18 from Ceya Glitter. I cut the balloon shaker holes with dies from Crealies and the Balloon Animal and Balloon Letters are from Riley and Company. Here is another slimline card I shared in my new video here:

The Some Bunny die set from Riley and Company is perfect for Easter or anytime. This card shows how the Ceya glitters can be used for non-shaker cards simply by attaching them with strips of two sided tape in different sizes. To see all the cards I made with the products from these two great companies, watch here

Glitter and Humor- Great Cardmaking Combo!

I recently discovered Ceya Glitter and combined their gorgeous glitters with stamps and dies from Riley and Company to make all the cards I share in my newest video here

Ha! This card will for sure bring a smile to the recipient's face! The Adult Beverages stamp set from Riley and Company is so funny and I paired it with a Dress Up Giraffe

My favorite of the glitters I got from Ceya is the Crushed Broken Glass in the Bronze color, although there are many more colors I know I will be ordering too.

This is the shaker card I show how to make with 4 different colors of Ceya glitter in the new video. I started with Kat Scrappiness' Heart Sunburst Die and show how easy it is to keep the 4 colors separate. The stamp is from the Crafter's Dress Up Stamp Set from Riley and Company and I used it to dress up my glittery giraffe on the inside too:

I used Ceya's Ultrafine White Glitter on my crafty giraffe so the sentiment from Riley and Company is perfect! These two cards are sure to brighten someone's day and I had so much fun designing them for my new video. I hope they encourage you to give some of these products a try and then send some joy out into the world!

Crealies Triple Fun Folds Video Series Part One - Circles!

Crealies has just released several new Triple Fun Fold Card die sets and I am starting a new video series each featuring a new shape! Today's cards and video show three different ways to use #18 Circles and here is the first card I made with this fun set:

Isn't that cute? And it was so easy to make with the Circles Triple Fun Fold Card die set from Crealies and their Texto Negativo sentiment die sets that are available in both vertical and horizontal.

I thought the cards created with this innovative die set looks a little like z-folds so I tried attaching it to an A2 z-fold card base and love how this "love bug" card turned out. Of course all the dies you see are from Crealies and I especially love the ladybug die set that was just re-released. All of these cards lay flat to mail in A2 envelopes as shown here:

In the new video I show this third way to use this new die set from Crealies and how to make this card. The pretty patterned flowers and butterflies (as well as the floral truck paper above) were all created with napkins from my stash. I have a MINC machine and have shown how to attach napkins to cardstock with clingwrap in my MINC, but I tried my large roll of Tonic Tissue Tape two sided adhesive and in just seconds I had pieces I could die cut as I did here for this pretty card. The circle die cut piece cut with Crealies #18 Triple Fun Fold die set was attached to a z-fold cardbase, and I attached an extra piece of cardstock on the back to hold this fun fold up for display.

To see three ways to use this inexpensive Crealies die set, watch the new video here and then take some time this week to have fun being creative!

Two More Sizes of Woven Basket Cards With Dies From Karen Burniston

A while back Karen Burniston released her Woven Basket Box Card die set that easily makes little woven baskets that lay flat to mail like the one I made above for my newest video. I filled mine with flowers and greens cut with dies from Kat Scrappiness and My Favorite Things and a "thank you" sentiment from Karen Burniston. Here is another view of this sweet card:

Almost immediately after releasing this die set, people were wondering how to make a bigger woven basket card and Karen shared how to double the width with this die set. But recently Karen Burniston released the Wide Woven Basket Card die set that can make double wide baskets or larger square basket cards like this one I made:

I filled this large basket card with graduation die cuts and a gift of money for the graduate. The adorable bookworm and books in the front were created with a new die set from Karen Burniston and the dancing grads were created with a die from Taylored Expressions. Here is a side view of this square woven basket card:

The little envelope with the cash gift in it was made with the Mini Envelope Maker from WeRMemoryKeepers. I had great fun making these woven basket cards in three sizes for my newest video and hope they encourage you to give some of the ideas and products a try!

Woven Basket Cards In Three Different Sizes Made Easy With Dies from Karen Burniston

Woven baskets that lay flat to mail to say Thank You or Happy Birthday or Happy Easter - anyone would love to receive and display one of those, right? In my newest video here, I show how easy it is to make basket cards in three different sizes with die set from Karen Burniston. Here is the basket card I make step by step in the video:

I show how to combine the Woven Basket Box Card and the new Wide Woven Basket Box Card die sets from Karen Burniston to make this double wide Easter basket card for one of my grandsons in the video. The Happy Spring and Easter eggs, chicks and bunnies are also dies from Karen Burniston and the chocolate bunny with a bite out of the ear was made with a die from Dies...To Die For. Here is a look at the side of this cute Easter box card:

There is a little envelope on the back held to the basket with a round paper clip that I made with the Mini Envelope Maker from Memory Keepers and filled with a personal note and cash gift for my grandson. I have two grandsons, so here is the other Easter basket card I made for my other grandson:

In the new video I also share two other sizes of woven basket cards so be sure to watch the video here and maybe give some of the ideas and products a try!
