Three More Cards from My Save The Crafty YouTuber Video

In my newest video which is part of a huge video hop where you can win one of many, many prizes, I share techniques for adding shimmer and sparkle on cards made with napkins and my MINC. I am giving away a prize package full of dies, stamps and other crafty supplies worth $50 to one lucky commenter, and I am also sending the cards I share in the video to other qualifying commenters as a Random Act of Kindness. All the cards I show are made with napkins attached with my MINC and a variety of shimmer techniques. This card has a subtle shimmer on the flower and words created by applying Nuvo Aqua Shimmer gold onto them as I show in the video. The sentiment dies are from Bright Rosa. Here is a closeup of that subtle shimmer:

I also added that Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to the bird on this napkin and the hello die (also from Bright Rosa.) Foiling through stencils with Therm O Web's Deco Foil Transfer Gel is another great way to add shine to our napkin cards as I show on this card in the video:

The stencil I used is from A Colorful Life and the sentiment die is a favorite from Sue Wilson. Would you like to receive one of these cards in the mail? Or even better receive a package of crafty goodness valued at $50 in the mail? All you need to do to qualify for a chance to win is to watch this video on Facebook, leave a comment on the video as instructed before April 5th and then check back on April 10th to see if you won!

(Just to be clear- subscribers, you can see the video imbedded in the emails you get from my blog, but comments here on my blog will not qualify to win. Please watch and comment on my YouTube channel by clicking one of the links. As a favor, on this and other videos you see in your emails, please click and watch on YouTube so the minutes you watch count toward the thousands needed to grow and monitize.)

I am entering the first card in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Stay safe and healthy and thanks for helping me share the #joy of creativity!

Napkin and Minc Techniques With Foil and Shimmer in Huge Video Hop!

I am thrilled to be part of the Save the Crafty YouTuber Video hop running from today until April 5th, 2020. On every stop of the hop there are amazing prizes to be won from these sponsors:
You do NOT have to comment on each stop to win, but the more you comment, the better your chances at winning. My prize is a package of dies, stamps and crafty supplies valued at $50. Be sure to watch my video here and comment as instructed for a chance to win that package.

I show in the video easy ways to add shimmer and foil onto napkin cards with the MINC Machine from Heidi Swapp. This is the card I make in the video with two techniques- adding foil through a stencil with Deco Foil's Transfer Gel and my Grunge Foil Technique. Here is another card that combines both those techniques:
The "celebrate" die on this card is from Tonic Studios, the Mandala stencil is by TCW and I added some gems from Gina Marie Designs.

The sentiment die on this card is from Sue Wilson. I added sparkle with my Grunge Foil Technique (melting embossing powder with foil in my MINC) which I demo in the video here.

There are many videos and prizes to be won in this video hop. Many of us are staying at home right now so now is a good time to learn some new techniques and support crafty YouTubers. Every minute you watch our videos, every thumbs up and positive comment and subscribing means so much to us! I am going to send out my prize package worth around $50 to one lucky commenter who has an USA mailing address and in addition, I am going to select some other qualified comments to send some of the cards I show in the video to as a Random Act of Kindness.

You can start the hop here at my video, and if you have time, hop from there. Thanks for your visit here and your support of our YouTube channels!

Cards For Teens OR Anything Goes 4 Kids at Send A Smile 4 Kids

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! Again this year, all challenges at SAS4Kids are Anything Goes 4 Kids! We will often have an alternative theme that you can choose to follow, but are not required to. Create and link any card that is appropriate for a child and your card could be chosen as one of our top three cards and you could join us as a guest dt member on a future challenge. We are also changing to a monthly challenge so new challenges will be posted on the first Saturday of every month and you will have a whole month to make and link your cards.

The theme for this challenge is: Cards for Teens OR Anything Goes 4 Kids.

I made this card for a teen with a new camera combo set of interactive stamps and dies from Motion Crafts. The top flash part pulls up to show the center of the circle moving. It is really hard to show that in a still picture, but you can check out that animation in this video. You can also leave a comment on that video before June 5th for a chance to win your own Motion Crafts Camera Combo Stamp and Die Set.

Be sure to check out the rest of the cards from TEAM SAS here and we would love it if you entered our challenge.

Grandson's Animated Camera Card from the Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop

I love the animation of the stamps from Motion Crafts and show how easy it is to make an animated camera card in my newest video here which is part of the huge Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop going on now until June 5th. I had so much fun making these animated camera cards, I made three and share all of them in the video. (The teen version will be blogged on Saturday, June 1st for the new Teens challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids.)

See how the flash inside the circles changes as the top piece is pulled? It is much easier to see that in the video here, and if you leave a comment there with my secret word and live in the USA, you could win your very own Motion Crafts Camera Animation Clear Stamp Set and Die Cut Combo valued at $30!!

I made this camera card for my grandson Evan and used alphabet dies from Tonic Studios and Jade Blossom to personalize it. Here is a peak at the back of the card:

You have until June 5th to watch and comment on my video as well as the many others in this video hop for a chance at over 45 prizes! In your comments, please state if you are an international guest or from the United States- many of the prizes are for either, but some can only be mailed to a USA mailing address.

Please consider subscribing to new crafty YouTubers you find, leave positive comments, share and give thumbs up- we are all dependent on you for our channels to grow. Thank You!

Grunge Foil Technique Feminine Butterfly Card

Today's card shows how the Grunge Foil technique I discovered and shared in this video yesterday is not only for masculine cards.

I am so happy to be participating this week in the Techniques day of the Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop, and in my video here you will learn how to create a grunge foiled look on your cards and see many sample cards with this technique. I have discovered an easy way to grunge up your foiled pieces and share that technique with you step by step. Be sure to comment on my video if you are visiting between October 25th and November 7th, 2018 for a chance at my prize (two stamps from Stampendous valued at $25!) as well as 125+ prizes all the video hop! You do not need to comment on every video to win, but the more you comment, the more chances you will have. YOU MUST MENTION USA OR INTERNATIONAL IN YOUR COMMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CHOSEN as some of the prizes including my own will be mailed to USA addresses only. (Comments on this blogpost are appreciated but do not qualify for the prize.)

In this close-up picture, you can see the grunge spots I have created on the Brutus Monroe and Therm O Web Designer Toner Sheet as well as the beautiful Soar die from Quietfire Designs and the lovely layered butterfly die from Birch Press Designs. I cut the top layer of the butterfly and one for the center of the card out of the negative of the grunged card front because it would be shame to waste any of this foiled beauty:

Want a chance at winning a great prize from Stampendous and to learn a new technique? Of course you do! Visit, watch and comment here, and then click the link there for more YouTube inspiration and many other prize opportunities!

I have used dies from two of the STCYT sponsors and two of my favorite companies in my card today: Tonic Studios and Karen Burniston. The mirror card on the Tonic Studios classic car is also from Tonic Studios and the secret ingredient used is from Nuvo. I started with a white Designer Toner Sheet from Brutus Monroe and Therm O Web and show how I created the grunge look in the video here. I used the negative of the leftover foil to create the foiled look on the "On Your Day" die (also from Tonic Studios) on the inside of my card:

I am entering this card in the Celebration challenge at Scrapy Land.

Want to learn a new technique and maybe win a prize? Of course you do! Watch my video here, comment and then click the link there to continue along today's video hop. (Links to all the products used in my cards are in the description box there too.)

Thanks for visiting my blog and for clicking over to my video and hopping along today!

Sneak Peek of a New Technique for Thursday's STCYT Video

I normally post a new YouTube video every Monday but this week I am participating in the Save the Crafty YouTuber video hop and the day Techniques are featured and my video will be live is Thursday, October 25th.

If you follow me you know I love Deco Foil from Therm O Web and also the new Designer Toner Sheets and foil from Brutus Monroe. I played with those and came up with a new to me technique for this grungy look and show how to do it in my video which will go live Thursday. I have a fantastic prize from Stampendous, one of my other favorite companies and a sponsor of the STCYT video hop, to give away to a lucky commenter on my video, so be sure to stop back then and watch the video!

The card above features a die from Spellbinders called You've Got Game and the card front was cut out with a die from Gina Marie Designs. Here is another card I made with this technique:

I used Brutus Monroe's Coffee Rings Clear Designer Toner Sheet foiled in sparkly red over a sparkly green piece with the negative of a foil featuring my new technique. The Christmas Bottle is a die from Tutti Designs and Merry and Bright from the inside are dies from Stampendous:

Each day this week there will be crafty videos you can watch and lots of prizes to be won in the Save the Craft You-Tuber Video hop and today you can start here.

I am entering this card in the 100th Challenge Celebration at Scrapy Land.
