Gorgeous Floral Cards With Pinkfresh Studios Washi Tape and Dies From My Newest Video

I admit I am not a huge fan of flowers on my cards that I have to color, but do love colorful flowers like the ones I used in my newest video from Pinkfresh Studios! As I show, all I needed to do for easy gorgeous flowers was to roll out the "In The Meadow" washi tape and cut them with the ingenious one piece die from Pinkfresh Studios - so simple!

I make a version of this card in the new video and I love how it turned out! I foiled the Simon Says Stamp Leafy Frame with Brutus Monroe Green Sketch foil and popped some of the Pinkfresh Studios flowers on the card. I also punched butterflies out of the washi tape flowers and added some texture on them with a debossing background die.

I am going to show you how to use the negative of the foiled leafy frame and some more Pinkfresh Studios die cut washi tape flowers in this week's Facebook Live on my Facebook page here. Be sure to follow me there and watch for the Lives (planned weekly for Thursday mornings unless life happens and then I will probably change to Thursday evening.)

One of my favorite all time techniques is the eclipse technique and I love this card with that technique, washi tape "In the Meadow" flowers and Pinkfresh Studio's HB2Y die.

I had great fun making many cards with Pinkfresh Studios In The Meadow Washi Tape and matching die for my new video and hope my cards inspire you to watch the video and Facebook Live and give some of the ideas and products a try.

I am entering the second card in the January challenge at Pinkfresh Studios- the prompt I used was flowers, and in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Facebook Live Tall Slimline Featuring Pinkfresh Studios and Karen Burniston Favorite Products

I love to find different ways to use my favorite dies and products to stretch my crafty dollars and last night on my Facebook Live on the Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook page, I shared how to make this card that changes the Karen Burniston Little Labels Pop-up die set to a tall slimline orientation as you can see here:

I try to keep my Facebook Lives shorter (20 minutes to half hour) as I know your time is precious and as you can see if you watch (available on replay there too), this card was super simple to make but full of beautiful flowers and interactive pop up fun. The flowers are made out of Pinkfresh Studios In The Meadow wide washi tape and cut out so easily with the matching In the Meadow die. The HB2U die on the front is also from Pinkfresh Studios. Here is another view of that fun pop up inside the slimline card:

In the Facebook Live I also shared some very exciting dies and other products I just got this week and will be playing with and sharing here, on YouTube and on Facebook Live, so be sure to check it out here. If you comment before 1-29-22 at midnight CST on the Live, you could win the card I share here and how to make in the Live. (USA mailing addresses only.)

Pop Up Slimline Cards With New Little Labels Dies From Karen Burniston

Do you love pop up cards that are super easy to make? Then this new video and the cards I share created with Karen Burniston's Little Labels Pop Up Die Set are for you!

I pulled out some favorite Easter dies to create this card I make in the video. On the front is a bunny scene created with dies from Dies...to Die For at Shopscrapbook101.com and bunny dies from Impression Obsession. "Hoppy Easter" wiggles and jiggles on an Action Wobble. But as usual with cards made with Karen Burniston dies, the real fun is on the inside of the card:

The Little Labels pop up die has three labels that pop out and I decorated them with more dies from Karen Burniston. Here is another card I made with this fun Little Labels Pop Up Die Set:

All the flowers on the front and inside of this card were created with Pinkfresh Studio's Blossom and Berries Washi Tape and matching dies. "Bloom & Grow" are dies from Cutplorations and the wavy wonky slimline die on the front is from Kat Scrappiness.

I used the same wavy wonky slimline die from Kat Scrappiness on this birthday card to add interest to the card front. The layered Happy Birthday and Border Blends - Trims dies are from Karen Burniston.

On the inside of this card the Little Labels pop up as you can see in the side view and in my new video, I show how easy it is to create this fun pop up look. "My Crafty Friend" is a die from Kat Scrappiness as are the wavy wonky rectangles. The rest of the dies shown are from Karen Burniston.

In this week's Facebook Live on Thursday 1/27 at 7:00 pm CST (NOTE the different time), I am going to show how to change the orientation to a tall slimline with the pop out labels on the inside full of washi tape flowers. These cards are so easy to make but will wow the recipient with the unique pop outs when the cards are opened! To see my Facebook Lives, visit my Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook page, LIKE and FOLLOW and watch for notices for my Lives each Thursday!

I am entering the first card in the Anything Goes challenge at Dies R Us and of course used Karen Burniston's dies in that card.

Facebook Live Valentine Pop Up Crocodile Card

I love to make pop up cards with Karen Burniston's Bitty Ball and Animal Add-on dies and I featured many of them in my YouTube video this week. Today on my Facebook Live I showed how to make this adorable Valentine Pop Up Crocodile card that I am going to send to my grandson. If you were unable to watch when it was live, you can catch a replay here on my Facebook page. Here is a look at the cute crocodile close up:

He is even cuter when you see him pop up, so be sure to check out either the FB Live or the Youtube video from Monday where you can see all the animals pop up when the card is opened. Here is a look at the front of the card when closed:

Today's pop up card featured the following dies from Karen Burniston: Bitty Ball Die Set, Animal Add-ons 4, Alphabet and Bayou Animals. I also used Kat Scrappiness Wonky Wavy Circle dies and KS Spectrum Of Love Slimline Paper Pad. Here is a look at the front of the card:

I am doing a Facebook Live every Thursday on my Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook Page, so be sure to check back next week at 7:00 pm cst for another.

Alligator and Frog Bitty Ball Animals From My Newest Video

My favorite Karen Burniston dies of all time are the Animal Add-ons and Bitty Ball dies and I was so happy to see 3 more animals in the newest release! The Animal Add-ons #4 can create and octopus which I shared yesterday on my blog and in my new video as well as alligators (or crocodiles) and frogs! There is also a new Bayou Animals die set that has a little alligator and frog and I used them both on these new cards.

I also used Karen's Alphabet set and new Hugs word set and I love how this card turned out!

I love to use jokes on my kids cards and the punch line for this question is on the inside where the super cute frog pops up:

To really appreciate these animals you need to watch the video here and see them pop up when the cards are opened! And/or you can watch me making another alligator card in my new FACEBOOK LIVE Thursday at 11:00 cst or on replay on my Facebook page later here: https://www.facebook.com/Karens-Kreative-Kards-104685005227634

I am entering the first card in the Anything Goes challenge at Dies R Us and of course used Karen Burniston's dies in that card.

Pop Up Animal Cards With Karen Burniston's Octopus, Alligator and Frog Bitty Ball Dies

Kids of all ages love pop up interactive cards and I was thrilled recently to see a new release by Karen Burniston with three more bitty ball add-ons! I made all three animals and share them in a new video here. My favorite of the new animals in the Animal Add-ons #4 is the octopus and here is the one I made in the video:

I love to use jokes on my cards and here is the front with the rest of the joke and a close up of my blue octopus:

Isn't he adorable? The little octopus is from Karen's Ocean Animals die set as is the Flap and Closure Die Set, and I used a Stampin' Up die set to cut his baseball hat. The wonky wavy square and slimline rectangle dies are from Kat Scrappiness. I also made a pink octopus using this new die set and Karen Burniston's Bitty Ball die set as I show in the new video, and here are some pictures of that card:

On the front of this one I used sentiment dies from Kat Scrappiness and Neat & Tangled. I also featured Karen Burniston's new Labels Crosshatch and Hugs Word Set as well as her Alphabet Die Set.

There are also dies to make a frog and an alligator in the new Animal Add-ons die set from Karen Burniston and I show adorable cards made with those in the new video too.

I am entering the first card in the Anything Goes challenge at Dies R Us and of course used Karen Burniston's dies in that card.

Change A Bright Feminine Love Card Into a Masculine Teenage Valentine Card

I had so many colorful foil pieces left after creating cards with the new Kat Scrappiness Love Sunburst die for my YouTube video this week, I just couldn't waste them. But I needed a teenage masculine Valentine, not a super bright feminine love card. In my Facebook Live this week, I show how to take the leftover pieces from the card on the left and make a masculine Valentine for my teenage grandson.

The card I made is an easel card with the embossed sunburst foil toned down by sanding it. Here is a link to my Karen's Kreative Kards Facebook page where you can watch the Live on replay if you missed it at 11:00 CST Thursday.

Nate is a Dungeons and Dragons fan so I popped up the D&D die with a perfect score for my perfect grandson to hold the easel card up. "You da best" was cut with a die from Simon Says Stamp and of course, the Heart Sunburst die is from Kat Scrappiness. The 3D embossing folder is from Stampin' up.

I am going to try to do a Facebook Live every week so be sure to like and follow Karen's Kreative Kards on Facebook and watch live or on replay there.

More Love Cards With New Dies from Kat Scrappiness For My Newest Video and Facebook Live!

Today I am sharing many more love cards I made for my newest video. When I saw the new dies in the January release at Kat Scrappiness I could not resist this Smooches Coverplate die - isn't it fun? I cut the coverplate out of white cardstock and attached it to a red cardbase. I inlaid some of the lips with two shades of pink glitter paper and added some x's and o's for Hugs and Kisses which I put on the inside of the card too:

The big lips die, the wonky heart die and the stitched heart background dies are all from Kat Scrappiness and the "hugs & kisses" die is from Karen Burniston. What do you do after cutting out the two pink glitter lips for the last card? Make another card of course using the coverplates off set and a "love you" die from Karen Burniston:

Most of the new dies I chose from the January release at Kat Scrappiness were A2 sized, but that doesn't mean you have to make A2 sized cards. I made this mini-slimline card with red, silver and pink mirror card mini slimline stitched dies from KS and then cut the new Heart Sunburst A2 die out of them for this unique look. The wonky heart die is also from KS and the friend die is from Karen Burniston.

I think this is my favorite of all the cards I made with the dies in the new release at Kat Scrappiness. I die cut the new A2 Heart Sunburst die out of gold, red, blue and green foil cardstock and inlaid the colored pieces back in before embossing the whole piece with a Memory Box 3D embossing folder. The "love" and stitched slimline dies (used to cut the vellum) are also dies from KS.

There were so many gorgeous pieces left after making this card I made the card below and will make another Heart Sunburst card in my Facebook Live this week so be sure to watch that live on my Facebook page here or later there if you are busy Thursday mornings. If you watch and comment either during the live or before midnight January 13. 2022 on this Live or last week's Live, YOU COULD WIN A PRIZE PACKAGE OF DIES WORTH $100! (USA mailing addresses only.)

I hope my cards inspire you to watch the video and Facebook Live and give some of the ideas and products a try!

I am entering this card in the Something New challenge at Simon Says Stamp as I am using all new dies from Kat Scrappiness on these cards.

Try A New Fun Fold Card with New Love Dies From Kat Scrappiness

I was so inspired by the new January release of dies from Kat Scrappiness that I made a bunch of love cards and shared them all in a new video here. The card I make in the video is called a Miura Card or Mini-Miura fun fold card. I learned how from a combination of many tutorials I found and I combined the best tips to make my own as I show in the video. Here is the version I made in the video:

Isn't that an unique fun fold? Mine stands up because I added an extra piece in the back and it folds flat to mail as shown here:

The fronts of both of these cards were created with a beautiful new cover plate die from Kat Scrappiness called Stitched Hearts and iridescent mirror card from Tonic Studios. Here are some more pictures of the blue version:

The layered "sending my love" is also a new die from the January release at Kat Scrappiness and the heart in the center of both cards is from the Hearts of Love Shaker Die Set. The two sided heart paper on both cards is also new from Kat Scrappiness and is called Spectrum of Love Slimline Paper Pad. It is best of course to watch the video to learn how to make this card, but here are some pictures of my template so you  can see the measurements clearly:

I had so much fun making these Miura fun fold cards with all the new dies from Kat Scrappiness for my new video and hope my cards inspire you to give some of the ideas and products a try!

I am entering this card in the Something New challenge at Simon Says Stamp as this is a totally new fold for me.
