Thankful Video Hop Continues on My and My Friends' YouTube Channels!

It's Monday and normally I post a new video every Monday, but I posted this week's on Saturday as part of the Thankful Video Hop hosted by Lady Joyful who is celebrating a milestone number of subscribers. We all are so grateful for everyone who subscribes and takes the time to watch our YouTube videos! There are prizes on every stop along the way and a grand prize of a 25 pound gift certificate to the Love From Lizi store for someone who comments on all the videos before May 5th.

I am sharing how to make these purses using the Kensington Handbag die set from Tonic Studios and various techniques using my Minc Mini from Heidi Swap in my new video here. The pretty pink and floral pieces on these thank you handbag gift boxes started out as napkins and I show how to get this gorgeous embossed look as well as a bonus tip on how I made the glittery butterflies. Here are a couple more looks at the napkin purses I made:

If you haven't done the video hop yet, you can start here with my video and see how I made these thank you purses and comment to possibly win a Tonic Studios die set valued at over $40. (Can you guess which one it is?) Then you can click the next link and watch some more inspiring videos and leave comments for a chance at the grand prize and other  prizes as well. You have until May 5th to leave your comments and the winners will be announced May 10th.

I am entering the first purse in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Thanks for watching, subscribing, sharing and commenting and thanks, too, for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Thankful Video Hop with Lady Joyful and Friends!

I am so happy this weekend to be participating in a video hop with friends I met in a Facebook group celebrating a milestone number of subscribers on Lady Joyful's YouTube channel. Lady Joyful is also known as Charlotte E and here is a link to her video. The video hop is sponsored by the Love From Lizi store and if you comment on all the videos in the hop, you could win a 25 pound gift certificate to that store! The prize you can win just by commenting on my video is valued at over $40 and you see it used through out in my video. (Hint- hint!) So come on over to watch my video and continue the hop from there. The link to the next stop is in my description box of the video here.

Because our theme is "thankful" and we are thanking all of our current and new subscribers, I decided to share some thank you purse gift boxes I made with techniques using a Minc machine by Heidi Swapp and the Kensington Purse Die from Tonic Studios. My first purses feature foils and Foil-Mates from Therm O Web and Gina K Designs. Here are a few more pictures of these purses:

To see how these purses were made and to have a chance at winning my prize, please come watch and comment on my video here. There are only a half dozen or so videos in the video hop and each one is offering a prize and sharing some great projects. The deadline to leave comments on all is May 5th and the winners will be announced on May 10th. Good luck and thanks for watching, sharing, commenting and subscribing to all of our YouTube channels. Your time and comments are appreciate more than you know!

Wine Glass Shaker Cards with Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends

I love making shaker cards especially if I have great sequin mixes to fill the shakers with like the new April release of Sparkle Blends from Doodle Paper Playground available here. I created this wine lover's shaker card using a wine glass die from My Creative Time and a fun set of stamps from My Favorite Things called Uncorked. Then I filled the wine glass shaker on the right with the Breakfast at Tiffys Sparkle Blend and the other with Flaming Sunset. Here is a picture of the shakers "all shook up" and the inside of the card:

Isn't that set of stamps from My Favorite Things just perfect for any wine lover? The gorgeous papers on the front and also used for the wine glasses in the center are from Tonic Studios Craft Perfect line of handmade papers

Layered Stamping for Realistic Three Dimensional Cards

I love how realistic looking the lab dog and the cat on this card look! Using layered stamps from Gina Marie Designs they were so easy to make look this real! Here is a close up look:

I recently discovered that Gina Marie Designs has very reasonably priced stamp sets and stencils in addition to the dies they are known for and I could not resist the Lab Dog and Kitty Cat Layered Stamp sets that also include cute sentiments. For links to all the stamps used and to see these and other cards using layered stamps, please visit my newest video here.

Altenew is well known for their beautiful layered stamps and matching dies. I recently received this gorgeous cardinal stamp set and die from Altenew as a gift and I am soooo over winter, so I made a thinking of you card with it. The "thinking of you" die is from Papertrey Ink. Here is another card I made with layered stamps and dies from Altenew:

I created a subtle background on this card by sponging light pink ink through a stencil I created with Altenew's Doodled Lace Cover Die. I stamped the pretty flowers using just two colors of ink with Altenew's Build a Flower Peony Blossom stamps and cut them out with the matching Altenew dies. The leaves were stamped with three colors of green and die cut with the same set from Altenew. The sentiment is from a lovely set of stamps from Stampendous called "Brushed Wishes."

I am entering the last card in the Flower Power challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday.

To see all these cards with layered stamping and see one made from start to finish, please watch my latest video here. Thanks for watching, sharing, subscribing and helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Video- How to Use Layered Stamps for Unique Three Dimensional Cards

Don't these lilacs look so realistic and lifelike? Lilacs are my favorite all time spring flower and these look so real thanks to Kitchen Sink Stamps multi-step stamps that I am featuring in my newest video here. Kitchen Sink Stamps was the first company to come out with layered stamps or Multi-Step stamps as they call it - they have been creating high quality clear multi-step stamps since 2007. In my newest video, I show many cards with layered stamps including the three I am sharing today all using Kitchen Sink Stamps floral multi-step stamps. Here is another view of the lilacs birthday card:

I stamped the lilacs using several shades of purple and green ink. I diecut Happy (from Die-Namics) and then raised it on foam and glued it back in. the Birthday is from Memory Box and the rectangle stitched die is by Gina Marie Designs.

Here are two more floral cards I made with Kitchen Sink Stamps and show in the new video:

It is so easy to create lovely realistic looking flowers using the multi-step stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I created the carnations in three different color families for the personalized eclipse card and this is the card I show how to make from start to finish in the new video. The alpha dies are from Kat Scrappiness and I again used a stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs.  My last card features the Multi-Step Lilies Kitchen Sink Stamps, a cute sentiment die from Kat Scrappiness and stitched rectangle dies from CUTplorations.

Tomorrow I will share the cards from the video using layered stamps from several other companies. For tips and many card samples featuring layered three dimensional stamps, take a look at my video here. Thanks for watching, subscribing, sharing and helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Anything Goes 4 Kids at Send a Smile 4 KIds!

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This year, all challenges at SAS4Kids are Anything Goes 4 Kids! We will often have an alternative theme that you can choose to follow, but are not required to. Create and link any card that is appropriate for a child and your card could be chosen as one of our top three cards and you could join us as a guest dt member on a future challenge.

The theme for this challenge is: Anything Goes 4 Kids with no alternative theme, so you can enter any card appropriate for a child. It is not required that you send in your card if you enter our challenges, but our kids would sure love it if you did!

I created a card for a special child using animated stamps from Motion Crafts by Uchi’s Designs. The animated background stamp behind the cute duck moves when the tab is pulled. And in the inside is another animated duck that hops and dances when the tab is pulled:

Too cute! To see the animation of this card (and others) you can watch my YouTube video here. This card is shown at about minute 4:45 in the video.

Be sure to check out the rest of the cards from TEAM SAS here and we would love it if you entered our challenge. I am entering this card in the challenge at Scrapy Land (used Uchi's Designs dies.)

Doodles Paper Playground Guest Designer Diva Baby Shaker Card

Today I am honored to be back as a Doodles Paper Playground Guest Designer Diva on their blog and here on mine! I love making shaker cards and the new sequin mixes released this month and available here at White Rose Crafts LLC totally inspired me! Take a look at the Oh Baby Sparkle Blend I used in this shaker card:

Perfect for a baby card, right? I layered a cute baby themed designer paper on a yellow card and created a shaker with a Baby Rattle Die and Circle Shaker from My Favorite Things. Can you see the baby bottles, pins and words in this cute Sparkle Blend mix? Here is another look at my card “all shook up” and the inside of the card with another cute stamp from My Favorite Things. I sprinkled some of the heart and star sequins from the Oh Baby Sparkle Blend sequin mix on the front and inside of the card:

***On a side note, the winner of the Stampendous stamps I shared on this video is being announced today! All the comments went into a bowl and Mr Random (in my house, my dh) drew the name of Beth Merkle! Congratulation Beth! You have until May 1st to contact me at khasheck at gmail dot com with your mailing address so I can send your winnings out to you.***

Another Butterfly Card with Stamps that Move from Motion Crafts

Yesterday I shared two butterfly cards from my latest video "Butterfly Cards that Move with Motion Crafts Stamps" and today I am sharing another card I made with Motion Crafts Double Slider Die and Vertical Butterfly Stamp Set. I also used a pretty Celebrate stamp from Elizabeth Crafts Happy Birthday Collection on one of the windows and butterfly dies from Memory Box and Die'sire. Watch what happens when the "pull here" tabs are pulled:

When those windows are opened, the butterflies' wings flutter and fly! To really see that movement, you are going to want to watch my latest video here. I really can't get enough of these animated stamps and dies from Motion Crafts- they are so unique and fun!

I am entering the first card in the Springtime challenge at Dies R Us (Uchi's Designs dies.)

Video- Butterfly Cards that Move with Motion Crafts Stamps!

We all love butterflies, right? How many butterfly stamps do you have in your collection of stamps? Do any of them move and fly right on your cards? Mine from Motion Crafts by Uchi's Designs do! Still pictures do not show that movement very well, but you can see the wings flutter and fly when you watch my latest video here. I share how easy it is to make this beautiful card in the video. The pretty Greetings die is from Impression Obsession and the oval stitched die is by Lil' Inker.

Here is another version of the same card in blue:

With Motion Crafts grid die, you can make your grids and butterflies just about any color you want! Come check out how the wings of the butterflies flutter and fly in my video here.  Links to all the products used are in the description  box there. Thanks for watching, sharing,  commenting and subscribing, and for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Easy Minc and Napkin Cards Continue from Newest Video

When making cards recently for my newest technique video here, I made this Christmas card too. I make Christmas cards all year round and share them in my classes so we are not in a rush late in the year to make them. I simply attached a beautiful cardinal and snow napkin to cardstock with cling wrap and my Heidi Swapp Minc Mini, attached it to a square red card and added a die cut Joy from Suzanne Cannon for Elizabeth Crafts.

My last napkin card features another pretty bird napkin which I embossed with an embossing folder and sponged with distress ink. The die on the inside is by Impression Obsession.

I hope you enjoyed all my napkin and Minc cards this week. Be sure to stop back tomorrow for a fun blog hop with great sparkly prizes to be won and visit this video before April 17th from last week for a chance to win some great Stampendous stamps.

More Napkin Cards Using the Minc Mini

I recently found some gorgeous napkins with flowers and wood planks and I created a bunch of cards with them and my Minc Mini. I explain how to do that easily in my latest video here.

A dear friend is celebrating an April birthday and I made her this card with the napkin Minc technique, the eclipse technique (using the Condensed Alphabet Dies from Kat Scrappiness)  and some great dies from Karen Burniston. I love the Happy Birthday die from Karen B. especially when it is layered. I used the Spinner Square Pop Up die from Karen Burniston to add a LOL surprise when the card is opened. The stamps in the center pieces are from Suzanne Cannon for Elizabeth Crafts and the Celebrate is from Tonic Studios.

Here are a couple more cards I made with same napkins:

It is so easy to make lovely cards with beautiful napkins, cling wrap, some dies and a Heidi Swapp Minc Machine as I share in this week's video here. The first card features a Gina Marie Designs Background Floral die and Greetings from IO. The second card shows Tim Holtz Sizzix new Planks Bigz Die and the Blessings die and stamp set from Hero Arts.

I am entering the first card in the birthday challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.
