Color Burst is now at Crackerbox Palace!

It's Crackerbox Palace Friday and today I am sharing not one, but two special cards I made with Crackerbox Palace’s gorgeous ladies and Color Burst powders. I am in love with the brilliant colors and awesome backgrounds and looks easily achieved with this new product from Ken Oliver Crafts! Crackerbox Palace is now carrying all six colors of Color Burst powders and they are on sale right now for 10% off! They can be found at the bottom of the main website page while on sale and in the accessories section here. All you do to get the beautiful colors for your cards is sprinkle a little of the concentrated powders onto a piece of watercolor paper and spritz with water. Just a little goes a long way. Or if you want a more subtle background, you can wet the watercolor paper first, sprinkle on a few of the powders and then spritz again. That is what I did on my first card above. I wanted a rainbow of soft colors and that was the beautiful result. After the colorful background was dry, I stamped the Summer Goddess and the "Hello Gorgeous" sentiment. I also stamped the sun on a lemon yellow Color Burst piece, cut it out and attached.

For my second card, I created the beautiful background with Color Burst and cling wrap from my kitchen! I simply sprinkled a few shakes of green and orange Color Burst into a wrinkled piece of cling wrap and spritzed it with gold Glimmer Mist (instead of water to activate.) I placed a piece of glossy cardstock into the glorious mess and wrapped the cling wrap around the glossy cardstock. I waited about 10 minutes, removed the cling wrap, and the lines of the wrinkled cling wrap and the Color Burst created a beautiful background. If you wanted a brighter background, all you need to do is add more of the Color Burst powders. The damp piece can be heat set to dry, or if you are more patient than me, you can allow the damp piece to sit for a while to dry. I stamped the Spring Goddess and sentiment with black archival ink and layered the piece onto a black card base. Both the beautiful Spring and Summer Goddesses can be found here on the CBP website.

**As a present to you from Crackerbox Palace, all the CBP stamps  on these cards will be 20% OFF for one week! So the stamps and Color Burst are on sale! Free shipping on all orders over $45 too!! Great deals- Check it out!**

In the upcoming weeks I will be posting more cards and art projects on the two blogs featuring Color Burst and Crackerbox Palace stamps. You really should give this new product a try- you are going to love what you can do with Color Burst colors!

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenges at 613 Avenue Create and the “Let’s Get Sentimental” challenge at Simon Says Stamp.
